I would only have Elizabethton and Mo West ahead of Bearden and those 3 are very close. SG should be behind MC and WB.

Yep I forgot about them. ETN as a whole is underrated.

I agree that Mo West & Bearden could make some noise in the boro this year just as they both did last year in getting to the final 4. However I do think ETN is underrated. Maybe you were just meaning in AAA but if not teams like Elizabethton, South Greene, Meigs Co, GP and a few others have great chances as well. Elizabethton probably goes on without a defeat.

The one advantage I give Mo West over Bearden at this moment is they play consistently all the time and may have better team chemistry right now. Bearden right now still has Jekyll & Hyde moments where they become complacent and lack that killer instinct. This may all fix itself in the end. If Mo West and Bearden are both playing up to their capabilities this game is a nailbiter.

Ok we can agree to disagree. As you said injuries are part of the game and must be dealt with. Greeneville caught Bearden injured and inexperienced. Greeneville made the plays they had to make to force OT and win. Hats off to them because I do believe they have a good team. You said Greeneville is pretty even with Bearden when they play up to their capabilities and I agree that they are against an injured Bearden team. Against a healthy Bearden team playing also up to their capabilities this it a double digit win for Bearden.

William Blount has a very good team. The second game at Bearden should be a good one but I'm taking Bearden and a regular season sweep.

As an earlier poster said all this is up for debate. I respect your opinion even though you are wrong.

Bearden lost to Greeneville without their All State starting center who signed with ETSU and also without there starting point guard. They started 2 freshmen in their place. Experience does count and Bearden was up 49-30 in the 3rd qtr. One player is back and they other should be back in a week. I've seen all these teams play as well. If Bearden were to play Greeneville while healthy the game would be a double digit win. I stick true to my statement because i'm sure you haven't seen Bearden healthy.

No way Mo West is a big favorite over a healthy Bearden in 3A. They would be a slim favorite at best. Game could go either way. Outside of Elizabethton there isn't a team in 1A or 2A in East Tenn that would beat a healthy Bearden. William Blount is a very good team as others will soon find out but Bearden was still without it's starting point guard and led by double digits the whole game. I can't speak for any of the districts in 1, 2 , or 3 but district 4 in 3A is heck night in and night out. There are 4 or 5 teams in that district that could compete for district championships in East Tenn in 1A, 2A, or 3A.

I'm gonna say 1A South Greene, 2A Elizabethton, 3A Mo West/Bearden. That was a great comeback win for Greeneville last night against Bearden no doubt but Bearden played the entire Landair Classic without their starting center who is an ETSU signee and their starting point guard. Bearden remained competitive in this tournament despite their injuries and these two players will be back from injury shortly. Mo West and a healthy Bearden is a push in 3A.

This is why you play the game. This is the same White County team that lost to Dickson County by 25 pts in December. Bearden just defeated Dickson County and had just has good a record as White County and I would bet money in a tougher District. Bearden's District is arguably one of the top 3 Districts in the state in AAA behind of course District 7AAA. I'll let you throw in somebody for 2nd but I wouldn't bet on it. As for 3rd best in the state.....you must not have seen the whole state.

I expect Bearden to show up. Depending on which Bearden team takes the court on Saturday will determine if this game is close or not. I feel pretty confident that this will be a better game than what Oakland faced in the first game.

My Prediction: 1A. Farragut 1B. Bearden 1C. Heritage 4. Maryville 5. Hardin Valley 6.William Blount 7. West 8. Lenoir City

I agree you have one of the best point guards if not the best point guard in the district. According to you though Bearden isn't worthy to play the mighty Lady Ad's and should definitely not be competing for championships since they have no talent outside of Walsh. Yeah they have 7 losses just like they had last year at this time. The Lady Ad's have 2 losses which is pretty close to what they had last year at this time. Doesn't matter now and it didn't matter last year. It's win or go home. Good luck to all the teams who have made it this far. As I have been saying the district and region tournaments are and were wide open. Farragut was fortunate to win. Congrats to them.

Congrats to the Lady Ads. They outplayed Bearden in the 2nd half. You seem very cocky u2bballnow as if y'all won by 20. You won by 1 point on your home court and still have the region tournament to go. Act like you've been there before cause you were in this same spot last year. If my memory serves me correct, the region tournament wasn't so kind and you got beat on your home court. It could happen again and like I said before this tournament just like the district is wide open. Enjoy your district championship but be mindful that every dawg has it's day. Don't get bit by those Lady Dawgs.........again.

Ah....yes just as they did last yr. They had great district success but Maryville, Bearden, and Heritage will not be easy outs if all make it pass the 2nd round. The district & regional tournaments can be full of surprises. Surprises where even those that lead can fall.

Btw u2bballnow I've noticed most of your post are always negative towards Bearden especially after a loss what gives? 7 other teams in the district and it's wide open in the tournament. Honestly I wish all the teams good luck and whoever wins this district I hope represents us well in the Region and goes deep in the State. District 4 has to be one of the most competitive in the State with 4 teams in the top 25 lead by Farragut.

That's the whole reason I put the record in that statement see 22-6. Even if they had lost the game to Maryville by 50 it doesn't take away that the first 5 were by a combined 11 pts. Maryville game just showed they got outplayed and Maryville deserved to win. Not preaching and I'm not a girl but just stating a fact. Btw Farragut beat Maryville by 10 at Maryville earlier in the season. Doesn't mean a thing now.

Believe what you must but I think Bearden is far more than one player. If the other district teams think Bearden will automatically fall just by playing Walsh tight so be it. I will tell you this though, for a team who is 22-6 with 5 losses coming by a combined 11 pts count them out if you want too. You might just be surprised. There is talent on that team besides Walsh. No they didn't win the regular season and probably thought there record would be a little better at this point in the season but I do expect them to compete and compete hard in this district tournament.
