1. In 10-AAA...Even though this district was extremely weak, I was expecting Clarksville-Northeast to go deep into the tournament led by two Division I signees in Drake Reed(Austin Peay) and Thomas Pfaff(Lipscomb). That was a big shocker for them to get beat by Gallatin in the first round of Region. Also I thought Dickson Co led by Rice signee would get far also because their team was overall solid.

I think that district 10-AAA was not near as good as 9-AAA all year, and it showed during region.

  2. Six  Well I've attended every single guys game and almost every single girls game this year and no, our student section is usually not quiet.  Lack of students?  There was an entire section of bleachers of students filled.  We had just as many students as Beech.  We were just not as loud.  And we just got done beating the #2 girls team in the USA.  Oh and beating our nemesis LaVergne the night before.  Most the people were exhausted.

Come Monday it's going to get dirty

I'm not even in high school, so of course I'm not going to all the Wilson Central games. And you just admitted the lack of enthusiasm when you said, "Usually our student section is not quiet. My point is Beech had to drive for almost an hour to get to your school, yet they had as many students as you? It doesn't make sense. By hosting the district and region tournaments you should have a major home-court advantage, especially when your school is far away from the others. Maybe you didn't understand me last time when I said I was cheering for Wilson Central. I wanted you guys to win, but that doesn't take away my disappointment in the student section. One section is not enough. Your bleachers on the bottom section of the home side don't go as far back as some schools.

  3. you idiot. you don't even go to WC, how can you know anything about them? we almost always have more students at our guys game. the only times we have more at our girls games are when we have played Mt. Juliet (probably only games you have come to)

I have attended 6 total Wilson Central games (each time with a boys and girls game) so I would think that I have a fair amount of data on which to make a judgment. Congrats to Wilson Central and I was definitely cheering for them tonight in both games, but I couldn't help but notice the lack of students. I'd love to bash the Beech students, but hey, they were louder and in more abundance.

  4. I agree, to a certain extent, even though my best friend who is a journalist is going to kill me for this, Most sportswriters are guys who enjoy and love sports but probably did not have the talent to excell so in order to stay involved in sports they became sportswriters, they really know nothing about the sports they are covering except basic information and rules, now there are some who know what they are talking about but not many

It's ridiculous to say just because someone didn't have the talent to play sports that they can't be good sportswriters. I mean seriously, Bill Belichek never played football but he's won 3 Super Bowls. A lot of non-athletes know more about the sport than some athletes because they actually love it more.

  5. you prove your idiocy once again, you say im referring the girls game, and then i say that you are a ref, you say im an umpire...last i checked girls dont play baseball...so obviously you are confused on your job title

    825574176

No, my job title is attend college. I am not a ref or an umpire. You make no sense either. Maybe if you could talk in complete sentences with good subject verb agreement I could listen to you without shaking my head. What do u mean by referring? Do you mean that from the base word refer? Or are you trying say refereeing, as in a referee during a game? Thanks for clearing this up so I can make fun of you again!

  6. at least refs dont deny they're biased

    825573728

I'm glad that you thought that comeback through. Or maybe you did, but your brain has been raised in the Beech area and it hasn't yet been but to use. O well, at least the refs(are you talking about baseball because they are called umpires) know which team to pull for when yall play.

  7. This just shows how big of an idiot you are. I talk about my own school yes...did i say they would do good??? no i said they have the POTENTIAL, beech is not the best, they have POTENTIAL, idk other schools in the district so i have nothing to add there...wouldnt it make sense for me to mention what i know?

    825572943

I like being called an idiot by a Beech person. Actually, I live for it. Maybe if Beech could have some "real" intelligent fans they could talk about other teams in the district. You have just further proved my point; maybe some people should learn a little about other teams instead of being obsessed with their own and themselves. Keep arguing though, like I said I live to make Beech fans mad and prove they are idiots. It just gets annoying when they can't accept how stupid their school and they really act. Have a great night, hope to see you on Monday.(hopefully you knew I was referring the the girls basketball game;I figured you would need a little extra help)

  8. hville has 1 pitcher, some young talent, and some leadership problems, at least that's the word from HHS insiders.

    825569564

What HHS insiders? The players, coaches, what? HHS has always had leadership problems off the field, but when they get on the field, it's just win. Think back two years ago when they went deep in Memphis. Ask your insiders what those kids were like off the field. They happened to be pretty dominant on the field. Thats the kind of leadership HHS has always had and once they get a core of great leaders (ex. more people like McClurg) maybe they can win a championship and win the social respect. B is awesome! That's all anyone needs to know.

  9. Beech players arent being to cocky, they know what they have to do, they know they have to step up and prove themselves. The mound will not be a problem, neither will the fielding, it will all come down to the hitting.

I am tired of so many people only talking about their own schools. Talk about other schools in their district that they know pretty well, and admit that your team is not the best. But would could I expect from Beech fans. I guess I will always be disappointed with the huge brain-wave discrepancy in the city of Hville.

  10. Do you all think Hville has improved sufficiently from last year? HHS has some really good players, but they are without a single senior. I think they could potentially be a really good team. Coach Hall is a great Xs and Os coach, but what do you all think about his improvements over Coach Dean last year?

  11. I don't consider the kid that got hurt to be HHS's best player. We played them later in the year at H'ville and I wasn't all that impressed. There were a couple other players on the team that I thought were much better!!! Also, every team plays several games throughout a season with key players hurt. We've had one out for most of the second half of the season, but you win as a team and you lose as a team......

The kid was not the best player last year because Hville had some great seniors graduate. He is the best player now hands down. Ask any of the players or anyone in the district.

  12. I would rather move out of the state than go to SCHS. So many kids left HHS, Beech, and Gallatin to go there when it opened because they thought it would be cool to be the leaders of a new school. After one year every kid was trying to get back to their original school, and most would not be accepted back. HHS's volleyball team is on the way up. Kim Rutherford has been bred playing volleyball and is a great leader and a future college volleyball player like her star big sister at Lipscomb.
