  1. williebgov, Not sure of the exact stats but I believe Daniels was something like 23 for maybe 37 for 260 yards and 3 TD's for about 64%. 3 interceptions (2 tip balls). I think those stats are close but I don't recall low balls maybe a couple on Graham's curls.
  2. Correction on my last post;; makes your players feel like your NOT 100% supportive
  3. matback,,, the underlying message is they need to stand behind the experienced senior OQ Daniels. I only know of one coach that very good at mastering this with 2 QB's and they played at times depending on their individual strenghts and situation at that time not rotating posessions. You loose and compromise momentum, your players feel that your are 100% committed or supportive. I believe that coach I am taliking about makes about 5 million a year and his first name was Steve I believe. Secondly move the GOVS back across the field and let them experience that home field advantage. Most of these players don't know what home field feels like except for the jamboree,,,,, oh yea I believe we played fairly well that night ???????????
  4. I see no one responded to Graham's injury. I talked to him friday night and he rolled his ankle. I believe he will be up for HV.
  5. Dang Jet you had to bring up Gilbert's... I'm having flashback !!!! LOL
  6. 2 things; 1. I remember Gilberts very well. I was working part time for Service Way and had to go in at 930 every night and clean the darn place while in high school LOL 2. Came blame Daniels the QB for tipped intersections at Morristown East. WB had 2 tipped up in the air for interceptions. They moved the ball very well against a good team just a couple of bad breaks.
  7. I just hope that WB can see that the 2 QB system isn't working and experience makes the difference.
  8. I hope so. The guys played their tails off. You make a good point. We had I believe 4 or 5 games that were lost by less than 3 or 4 points and could have easily went the other way. The team played with a lot of heart. I will continue to buy my ticket on friday night regardless. The boys deserve the support!
  9. 91 your are right too! To be a good team you need balance on both offense and defense. But for a coach to have a great team it starts with the staff that he surrounds himself with at i.e. asst coaches. Those are the ones that help build the wall of success around you. BUT MOST of all, you as a head coach have to be able to determine who that guy in the middle is that is slowly causing it to crumble. The winner has the most points on the board at the end of the game and that starts with offense. The O cordinator needs to be on his game and from what I see he has no game.
  10. I think Ridge is capable. The number one thing he needs is someone that can run an offense and call plays. The play caling was horrid this season. The have some great athletes at WB but great athletes has to have great minds to coach them. They have one of the best QB's in the district and no blocking. We need more than 6 offensive plays and someone that can call them. Like I said the play calling was horrid this season. You have to agree Big Dave.
