I would have to say I think Clarkrange will take JC in the region final. The Lady Buffalos are a great shooting team, all players on the floor can shoot the 3, can't say that for all teams, also very strong defensively. As for Jackson County, Coach Brown may possibly have lost his edge. I don't see them beating C-Range again, especially if the Buffs play as well as they did against RBS last night. If JC expects to play a sub-state game at home they need to really pick up the pace and Coach Brown needs to bring some new stuff out of his rear to beat the Lady Buffs.

Congrats to the Tigerettes of Gordonsville High School on their win over Westmoreland for the District Championship. Also congrats to the girls who made all tourney; Bush, Mitchell, Armistead, and Thomas, and to the girls who were chosen for the all district teams this year. Thomas, Watson, and Smith. Great job last night girls, slow to start but what a finish!!!! Keep it up, remember to play as a team. Good Greif, you've got to be kidding me?!? Is this the real list, if it is I can't believe it. I really don't know exactly how these teams are picked, but I can sure tell you that there are a couple of girls from Gordonsville that have definately been overlooked big time!!!

The biggest problem with G'ville's loss to FCS or anyone elese is that sometimes their girls forget that they are a TEAM and it takes a WHOLE team to win, not just one or two girls. If they could play as a team every game they have a great shot to go far at tournament time, if not they'll be lucky to make it through the district.

You guys are all talking like JC is still the big powerhouse they were a few years ago when Davidson and Lane played. I personally was at every game when those 2 played and this years team is not even close to the teams they had those years, I think JC is still a stong team, don't get me wrong but they are very beatable.

I don't think depth will be as big a problem as people may think for Gordonsville, we have some talent that will be coming off the bench, don't be so quick to say there may be a problem there.

I personally have not seen Clarkrange play but I hear they are tough. I am pulling for the Lady Bull Dogs to come out with a win, possibly in OT.

look out when JC moves down to A ball. They are not the dynasty they used to be when Lane and Davidson played for him, That my friend was a dynasty, and thats long gone. Tigerettes all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
