And UT in recent years the regular season champs usually get more players on the teams but MVP is a toss up because there are always good players who mean a lot to their perspective teams. This year should be interesting for 2nd and 3rd teams and even the honorable mentions. Who gets Freshman of the year? haven't seen many stand out this year like recent years.

MVP Key from Clay. First team Phillips, Ferrell, Key, Hall, and Siems. Just my opinion.

Isn't that the truth. CRange always plays a tough schedule and that has helped them mature. Same with Pickett they were competitive with LA and White Co. and that has improved their team. Pickett has a better coach now and its already paying dividends for them. Clay just lost to RBS and I'm in no way saying they are unbeatable but they have plenty of size and Key is playing at a high level he might get MVP. And he will be dominating region 4a for two more years!

MHS played CC close, the game could have went either way so dill is right about there being some good tourney games to come. However i do believe that Clay County has more weapons than any other team, with coaching being the most deadly of all. Should be an exciting atmosphere come tourney time. Good luck to all

Only #21 on Clay Co. is not from the area he transferred in during football season. Tyreke Key #23 did play last year but was only a freshman...Great game to watch last night. Ferrell was all over the place he can play and has improved a lot since last year, should be a good game in celina. Right now CC is in control of the district with, however, they play Jackson county twice still and anything can happen in gainesboro.

Key went to WKU individual skills camp and showed out and TN Techs coach has shown some interest. He's only going to be a sophmore so has plenty more time to develop his game and will he practically lives in the gym. His strengths are getting to the rim with ease, ballhandling ,as well as, rebounding he's 6'2 and can jump pretty well. Decision making and defense are a bit of a weakness but that comes with age and experience he played a lot as a freshman and had great camps this summer. He will get some offers and be fun to watch to when he gets it all figured out. Also the size of his post players will help that much more.

Clay county will win the district they have the best player in the region Tyreke Key who is already being recruited by d-1 schools. plenty of experience returning as thry only lost 2 Players whom neither played a lot. They also have a 6'7 transfer from N.C. to go with 2 6'5 kids they already had. Coach Edwards is the best coach in the region and understands how to get the most out of his players. Going to be a good year for the black and gold with size ,speed, and experience winning them a lot of ball games.
