Blackman starters will be lucky to see the field, if they do they will be pulled late in the first or very early in the second quarter. Would not be surprised to see the Blaze put up over 50!

Both teams looked pretty good today! Great game played by Blackman. I can say though I now know where oklands players get their mouths from, as I was sitting below the press box and had the privilege of listening to a Oakland coach running his lips to Blackman fans. Considering Blackman had to play against the officials also, I would watch out for these boys making this their year to run all the way to the Gold Ball!

I am definitely a Blaze fan, but with what I am hearing if Oakland does come out in a new "spread offense" then I feel it will be left to our defense to secure the win for Blackman. It will be a great game, and one could not ask for anything better for a week zero nationally televised game!

Agreed lost old dad, always seems to be that way. Truly I would love to see this so called team of teams handle a full season with the quality of teams that play here in Rutherford County. Something tells me they would not be that team any longer.

Don't count the Blaze out! Either way it would appear The winner of this game most likely takes the divison And will be looking to show Maryville how these Mid. Tenn. Boys play!
