Hope those failed extra points don’t come back and bite Tyner
They had a great kicker for a few years

7 to 6 Meigs. Failed 2 point conversion by Tyner.
Tyner moving ball with ease on Meigs.
Meigs has no answer for Tyner passing game and can't make tackles in open space.
Meigs offense can't do anything against Tyner D either as of yet. Only score thanks to long punt and turnover inside 20 yard line.
Have to be able to tackle in space against Tyner

I could see it panning out like that. I don't think it will be a blowout either way. Playing at Meigs gives us the advantage.
Definitely

Sonny Moore and CP matchup has this at about a 10 pt win for Meigs
Massey has it at a 2 TD win for the Tigers

That healthy deal is a big key, we've yet to put our best on the field, been missing 2 or 3 every week. If we can ever get um all healthy at once, we should be pretty tough.
I have no doubt. We have been very fortunate so far actually. Just a few that have been banged up.

You and Meigs will be an all out war, may not even know who the better team is when its over. Best team don't always win these games. All you have to do is look at Trousdale and Watertown the last couple of years. Its fixing to get real in a short few weeks. Several pretty good teams in the East, Think West view owns the West
It should be a great atmosphere. We just have to take care of business the next 2 weeks and Meigs has a tough one this week. Tyner is a good team that is big and speed everywhere.
Westview should make it to Chattanooga and I'm not sure anyone in the east will be able to do much with them.

You guys are a top 4 in my poll, 2ond or 3rd in my opinion.
We appreciate that. A team's own fans can be their worst critics at times. There are things they need to improve on and there are things that they have improved on since week 1. If they can get it all clicking at the right time (and get everyone healthy) they could make some noise for sure.

One of the many reasons I don't have much faith in polls. They're great for watercooler chat, CoachT banter. Other than that, no so much.
Playoffs usually sort things out.
Polls are good for bragging a little and getting folks riled up a little too lol. On paper I would say it's a Westview vs Meigs final but you never know how teenagers will react on a Friday night. A lot of the teams I don't know anything about. The 1 team I do know about is Marion and I'm not sure we are #4. I think we are top 10 maybe. Our kids are steadily getting better each week and could be a hard out in the playoffs. Just gotta play to their potential and take each game one at a time.

We are out of school this week as well. And I agree playing a game like they just did will help improve any spots that are normally exposed. Look forward to having you.
Seems like we're all out lol. Look forward to the atmosphere. Seems you guys always have great crowds.

Agree 100%, Rams need something positive to happen early in this game or it will go like most are saying - a big Meigs win, i think the Tyner kids are resilient and will battle. Not sure Meigs has played anybody like us yet - but if they are truly the best team in 2A (not Westview/Marion/TC??) then it will be a long night. Need a great week of practice and to learn from our mistakes. Being on fall break this week - not sure if good or bad for these kids. Go Rams!!
Honestly I wouldn't like being out of the normal routine of school and practice. I do believe it helps you guys having played us the week before this game. There's not as much of a shock factor with the physical aspect that Meigs will show. I'm planning on going to this one.

Warriors need to win this to assure a home playoff game.

Yep and that could go either way. Think Meigs wins regardless.
I think so too. Tyner gets outside quick. Have to be able to tackle in open space. 1 missed tackle and it's a big gain.

If this happens I will be really surprised.
Depends on the mindset of the Rams after that loss.

Honestly the most impressive thing to me is that goose egg!
The defense played a good game. They've given up yardage this season but not many points. They held Tyner to 83 total yards. Tyner is big and has some good looking athletes. MC sputtered a few times and just missed a TD on an open receiver. Other than that they played a pretty complete game
Meigs vs Tyner

Halfback pass for about 60.
