 Don't believe it myself,  I believe it's all smoke no fire!  See it alot in the off-season, the most important season of all.  I do believe Oz is going  to have good team next year or maybe even a special team if they work hard in the off-season.

Tell me Crow, does Oneida get any transfers year in year out. I'm sure you all get a few but I never hear of it.  I know Coalfield and Greenback get their fair share.  I know Oneida has struggled here of late but have had some really good teams in the past and deserve a nod for doing it with good homegrown talent and coaching.

Good comment!  The success of a program does the recruiting. Kids will go were they think they can win.  OZ has been improving and just needs to build off this success and kids will want to go there.  It's that way at every level and that why the same programs are good year in year out.  There is people out there that will say or  do what they can to bring a program down.  Look what happened at Greenback for example,  I have a feeling there is a balduglyduck in some pond in Loudon County that caused all that mess.

Losing draws losers and everyone wants to be apart of wins and lets be honest when your the only school in the county with winning sports programs it takes care of its self.  

I disagree with your first comment,  I think it's the other way around.  But I agree with the rest.  Most  of the kids on Cf roster are from Coalfield and Petros but some of the Petrosians decide to go up the road to Wartburg but not many.

Kids can go to any school in the county where ever they choose. I know the  Shannon kid is from Wartburg I do believe. He is pretty young I do believe. If they from Oz it is a different story.

Cf doesn't lose much but 27, 56 and 42 will be missed especially 27(Henry) our leading tackler. If they get there tails in the weight room this off season we shall be fine.  We need to get a little stronger and bigger up front.

Same here, lots of respect for you and gfd709shrek.  Heck, I may have played against you in 88 when I was a sophomore. Due to a broken arm I was put on the line at nose that year.  I'll have to meet up with ya next year like you said .  It would be good to meet a few of coacht cats and chat.

Your right it is the end of the line for both squads really.  Cf has always been down when they run into  SP.  It would have been no different this year if they had advanced.

He is a good ball player, a tough kid.  Oz was more physical than us.  I knew it would be  a close game and the conditions didn't favor us.  We do run similar offenses but we lean on the pass more than Oz.  Congrats to the Bobcats.
