  1. Again I know most of you guys don't keep up with .... with local football happenings,we would stomp the yard on Trousdale County trust me we've done it before and that group of kids are there now as Sophomores and Freshmen :popcorneater:

Coming from a program thats won 4 games in 4 years or whatever it is....

  2. No offense to you Mr. Salty, but I just don't see it happening. It doesn't appear to me that Watertown can stop many people. This Marion County offense is rarely ever been slowed down. We at SP are the only team to remotely stop them this season. When has this offense been slowed down at all the last 3 years? We hear this stuff every week of people stopping them, but we rarely ever see them stopped.

None taken. I know I just went on a spill about not comparing scores, but Boyd did hold them to 19 2 weeks after you guys played them. Also H20 is only giving up 17 a game, and with them being 10-1 who knows how many points were given up against the subs. I am not trying to argue that they will win. I just think this is going to be a lot better game than what people think.

  3. H2O couldn't beat Tyner last year and they won't beat MC this year!!

And Marion couldn't beat Boyd last year and Watertown did last week! Also Marion Co. beat South Pitt last year, and they lost to them last year so obviously their not as good as they were last year. JK... You can't always compare scores and predict winners of high school games. Watertown has a good football team as well as Marion Co. Not predicting a winner but I think the game comes down to the 4th Quarter.

  4. Well, lets look at some reasons why the application list could be long:

1). Only had three seniors starting on offense

2). Only had two or maybe three seniors starting on defense

3). Coaching supplements upgraded last year and now VERY competitive if not ahead of    surrounding schools

4). Outstanding facilities "THE HOLE". Beautiful field, new lights, new visitor bleachers seats 1000,

5). One of the best Boosters club in TN that does NOT try to tell coaches how to run the program

6). In just the past few years some of the accomplishments of the booster club with ZERO, NO help from the county: Beautiful indoor practice, with turf, many colleges would love to have this facility, new field house, new baseball field, new softball field, concession stand and bathrooms on visitor side. Many more achievements by the booster club, charter buses is another, that are structure facilities and many, many smaller achievements. As does most schools, additional coaching supplements paid to coaches run thru school to be legal.

Attractive job? you decide. Discipline in school system very good backed by DOS and BOE. I could go on and on but I think you get the situation. Gary Rankin started the tradition several years back follow by Jimmy Maynord. Ripe, prime territory!!!!!!!!!!!

    Has the position opened up?

  5. if ND gets by...Smith(and they should),it all ends next week when Irish go to Seq-county.so enjoy tonight boog. irish by 35 tonight

    Not so fast....

Seq County is 10-0 but their wins really aren't that impressive when you go back and look at their schedule. Most impressive win is over 1-A South Pitt, and if they played right now my money would be on South Pitt. Dekalb Co. with a healthy Jennings would of added another loss to that schedule.

Seq County may make a run to the 4th round due to being in the weakest quad in the state, but don't get confused they aren't even close to a top tier team in 3A. Alcoa, Stratford, Liberty Tech, CPA, Goodpasture would beat them by 3TDS.
