Nobody is talking about franklin hiring former science hill head coach Darrell Barnwell. Great hire for the lady rebels could help them get a big push and run in the coming season with a young group

As a close personal friend, who talks to coach Barnwell almost daily I can assure everyone 110% that he will not be coming back to jc to coach sh.

Science hill girls basketball this year has had their ups and downs but are looking better as of late. They have a bunch of younger girls playing but with a team that is use to winning they aren't getting any thought of making it back to state tournament this year.

Elizabethton has a great and special team. However, basing how good they are or should be by playing teams that use to be good in past seasons isn't a way to go. I know that the team out of sc graduated 4 of their top players from last year and Hoover hasn't been the same team they were a couple years ago. If they want to prove etown is a national caliber team they should go play teams in either that the Naples or Nike tournaments host. Science hill did so a couple years ago and not only did it help them in the state tournament but also allowed others outside of tn to know who they were. Which is why they were well recognized in national polls.

Don't under estimate sh. Young team that is also playing without their starting point guard. They play in a tough tournament after Christmas and have some good teams come jan and on. Dont be surprised for them to get it going when they need to late in the year

I think SH pulls put out a close one tonight. Will be a very interesting matchup but Gregory is the difference maker for SH to pull it out.

Science hill play at daniel boone tomorrow night. Two teams who were thought to be best in 1AAA. Heard SH had some good moments vs a good etwon team and that boone has struggled in their games so far this year. Who yall think comes out on top in this one?

Don't forget that science hill has a tough matchup this week in Elizabethton. SH had a good weekend against two less superior teams. Tonight will show a lot about SH but it is early.

Going to be an interesting year. From what I saw at the jamboree SH and boone looked to be the top 2 teams followed by volunteer, even with a lost, they are just one or two break out players away from being there. If I had to pick today I'd go with SH winning. However, come SH vs boone opening conference play in 2 weeks could be a mind changer
