There is no way you can sit there and say one team can beat another when you havent seen the other team play.
Your just taking a wild guess in my opinion.
I agree but isn't that what most of this message board is about?

Don't know about the other teams but Tyner defeated Polk Co( 2-0 at the time); Polk was also unscored on. Polk is 4-1 currently.
yeah but besides Tyner, Polks opponent's combined record is 2-17.

Quiz time!
How many of these teams have faced an undefeated team and given that team their only loss?
Is it Watertown?
I honestly dont know figured someone that keeps up with it a lot more than me could just top the answers off the top of their head.
which team was undefeated and their only loss was to Watertown?
-
Waverly should not give up touchdown in this game and score at anytime they want.

Forrest for their homecoming scheduled a Top 10 team for some reason.
Watertown 42
Forrest 12
I see the 42 points or move by Watertown, but I don't see the 12 by Forrest unless it's the Forrest starters against the Watertown JV in the 2nd half.

Watertown folk need to come early and eat at the Country Diner! Which is across from the school. We ate there last night and recommend it. Good food and friendly employees & locals there.

That schedule they play isn’t for the faint of heart. Are they a senior laden team?
from the roster I saw last week they only had 5 seniors listed.

Serious question because I really don't know anything about Polk County and noticed they jumped into the top 10 this week.
They are 3-1 and the 3 wins are over teams that have not won a game and they were defeated by #4 Tyner 35-7.
What am I missing?

My opinion is SP should win. Lipscomb players are discipline and hard hitting but the team is a few good skill position players away from being a winning team.
-
Definitely in my thoughts and prayers

Any of Peabody's games online? From what I've read on here and the box scores it appear after week #4 they are the team to beat in the West.
I'm also impressed that their last reported enrollment numbers barely missed out on playing in single A. One of the smallest schools in AA.

I font think any of those teams have a winning record do they?
yes... Summertown is .500 but that's it.
I would say Lipscomb is a good team just missing a couple good skills position players. Their loses are to Ensworth by 8 and PJPII by 10 which are all very good DII AAA teams.
But when these schedules were made you would have thought Nashville Christian, Spring Hill and Lipscomb were going to be better teams than they are this year.
All that being said CA is still a Top 5 team in AA at the end of the year (if healthy) in my opinion. This year's team is a lot better defensively and running attack than last years. If anything the passing game at this point is behind where it was at the end of last year.

Dang they sound pretty good!! Thanks for the info.
Looking back at scores only.
DA averages 48.25 ppg and allow 11/75 ppg
Waverly averages 42.33 ppg and allows 40 ppg.
Appears it will be another match-up where the team that plays the best defense Friday night will win the shootout.
Definitely a game I'm interested in watching stats and replays of.

Their QB Stone Norton is a (FIU) Florida International University commit. Has passed for 1041 yards 11tds / 1int
RB Hewitt has 637 yards rushing.
As a team they seem balanced on offense: 276.5 passing per game & 235 rushing per game.
That's about all I know about them.

He seems to be a very good back. Watching his highlights he has great blocking as well. He gets blocks until he turns the corner on every play it looks like. Quick kid.
he's definitely fun to watch. He powers through and gets yards after the 1st contact too.

Impressive...Does Davidson play Defense? Who is he being recruited by?
He only plays offense. He had over 1,800 yards rushing last year as a junior.
I know we have 6 or 7 players with offers this year but I'm personally unsure if he's one of them and who's offering.
