Looking for a 17U travel team in middle or west tn. Does anybody know of any looking for players

My son played for coach Cash for two years before we moved to Camden. Coach Cash is a good coach and treats the kids fairly and with respect. I wish my son still played for him. After moving to Camden he gave up baseball because the coach is a complete jerk and isn't respected by the players. You should be proud to have someone like coach Cash he will teach them baseball and how to conduct themselves after baseball.

I think a Waverly CPA matchup would be fun to watch. I don't think CPA can run with Waverly, they would have to slow it down.

All games as expected last night. The Camden game was a little closer than I would've thought but I guess with the leading scorer only playing at half speed and the point guard not playing at all that translates into a close game. The other players all stepped up big time and helped carry the load. Friday night will be tough playing Waverly and being shorthanded.

Thats what high school sports is all about, not just winning and losing

Camden has a couple of seniors but should be better next year after they have played together and gained that valuable experience

When do they play again?

I am a big Camden fan but I think a realistic goal for this years team is a 3rd place finish. They are young and inexperienced with very little depth. They will definitely only get better as the year goes on but next year they have the potential to be a top team in the district.

Camden beats East Hickman 51-42 with some great defense in the second half.

What does Lewis have this year? Do they have any size? I think they lost a lot of players from last years team

I haven't seen anyone shut Smith down he is a great scorer. You just have to hope to contain him and try to limit his touches and uncontested looks. Should be a fun match up to watch if they get matched up together

Will we ever see a split where public schools don't have to play teams in the tournaments that say they don't recruit players but always seem to have kids from all over the state and other states.

The Waverly Creekwood games should be great games. Those are two talented teams who seem to play hard for their coach. Should be fun to watch.

Camden should take care of business tonight against Huntingdon as long as Vick and Stanford continue to get their shots and put up numbers like they did against West Carroll. Waverly has their football boys back tonight but shouldn't need them against Houston County. What other games are being played with district teams tonight?
