There may be some.  I didn’t expect you too, but others have certainly called me a hater for calling the current staff out or saying anything negative about the program. I’m starting to believe that even those guys are finally admitting Gallatin is currently in shambles.

He’s definitely inquired about the job. That much I definitely know, so I’m sure he’s applied.

Even if the Jackets scoring avg is 38 per  game?

In theory that sounds good but when your schedule is just awful outside of these two weeks I just can’t see them beating HC. Now you can’t help who is in your region but if it was me I would’ve tested myself a little earlier and not with Wilson central and greenbrier. Now Y’all are still a really good team don’t get me wrong but offensively that 38 Avg is very deceiving! But listen if I’m wrong I will respectfully apologize to all the Springfield faithful!

  3. HC wins by a couple of scores. I’ve seen both teams and HC is a more complete team because what separates them is the ability to score. Springfield has a really good defense like really good but that offense is stalemate and predictable. Also Springfields showing against rossview showed a lot but in a bad way. I definitely wish I could say Springfield is going to win this game but I don’t even see it being close.

So I believe three out of the four openings in Clarksville hired assistants that were already on staff. I’m sure it was because they were the most qualified and not just because they coach football and teach…. except for NE, who hired a semi pro coach.
I wish them all the best luck, but if I was a betting man I would think all four teams plus NW will have new coaches in four years or less.

I am sure Clarksville will be decent, but how will the other teams in Montgomery County do this year?

Mhmmm some of those hires if not all were head scrachers because I know some of the people with qualified resumes applied for those jobs. But like you said the one with the most talent hired a semi pro coach! yeah you're giving four years but I'm giving it two years before the cycle starts again.

When you don't prioritize athletics, coaches are gonna (rightly) get out when a better offer comes along. Don't blame Greer at all for taking the OC gig at Stewarts Creek

Yeah I definitely don't blame him, I mean even the coaching stipends there are some of the worse compared to counties of their size around the state.

And some fly under the radar many times.  You sometimes find those coaches that love to self promote themselves by sharing everything on social media.  Never understood why someone wants all of their business to be on blast, other than for attention.

Unfortunately it's not about having everyone in your business, you have to self promote yourself now days and social media engagement is the biggest way to do it. Especially when all you're doing is networking with coaches, promoting your program and sharing ideas.
