As workouts have begin and most teams have filled out there spring football schedules, what are some good games you're looking to see or even teams you want to get an early look on how they may be going into the 24 season?

I’m hearing they are loosing a lot of kids to the new school that’s being built. Wonder how that’s going to effect the program going forward.

What about Dustin Wilson? He has certainly changed the culture at Springfield.
Why would he leave? Basically contending for championship every year. Has it rolling over there.

Definitely headed to new school in Clarksville. Been done for about a week now

There may be some. I didn’t expect you too, but others have certainly called me a hater for calling the current staff out or saying anything negative about the program. I’m starting to believe that even those guys are finally admitting Gallatin is currently in shambles.
He’s definitely inquired about the job. That much I definitely know, so I’m sure he’s applied.

I’m not sure but didn’t Springfields best WR not play until 3rd or 4th quarter of the HC game?
-
Munford Is flustered right now and the coaches have no control! Springfield has a championship defense!!! I want to see them and HC again
-
I’m hearing Watson has been reaching out about potentially upcoming HC openings.
-
Springfield is for real! Seems like the kid who caught the TD for them is there best WR and really didn’t play due to injury but when he was in you knew it!
-
The OC for Springfield has came out and done some different things so this could definitely get interesting! I like the change up with jets and if the QB hits the RB down the sideline we’d be looking at 14-7
-
But I’ll say Springfield has been on the end of some bad spots by the officials! Like I mean terrible spots!

Does Springfield have an offense?
No! I’m not a fan of either team but I’ve watched both and that Springfield offense is terrible! Relies on the quarterback to just make plays with his feet.

Even if the Jackets scoring avg is 38 per game?
In theory that sounds good but when your schedule is just awful outside of these two weeks I just can’t see them beating HC. Now you can’t help who is in your region but if it was me I would’ve tested myself a little earlier and not with Wilson central and greenbrier. Now Y’all are still a really good team don’t get me wrong but offensively that 38 Avg is very deceiving! But listen if I’m wrong I will respectfully apologize to all the Springfield faithful!

HC wins by a couple of scores. I’ve seen both teams and HC is a more complete team because what separates them is the ability to score. Springfield has a really good defense like really good but that offense is stalemate and predictable. Also Springfields showing against rossview showed a lot but in a bad way. I definitely wish I could say Springfield is going to win this game but I don’t even see it being close.

Seems like this game was a lot closer than expected

So I believe three out of the four openings in Clarksville hired assistants that were already on staff. I’m sure it was because they were the most qualified and not just because they coach football and teach…. except for NE, who hired a semi pro coach.
I wish them all the best luck, but if I was a betting man I would think all four teams plus NW will have new coaches in four years or less.I am sure Clarksville will be decent, but how will the other teams in Montgomery County do this year?
Mhmmm some of those hires if not all were head scrachers because I know some of the people with qualified resumes applied for those jobs. But like you said the one with the most talent hired a semi pro coach! yeah you're giving four years but I'm giving it two years before the cycle starts again.

Hearing North East hired a Semi Pro coach.... Yikes!!!!

When you don't prioritize athletics, coaches are gonna (rightly) get out when a better offer comes along. Don't blame Greer at all for taking the OC gig at Stewarts Creek
Yeah I definitely don't blame him, I mean even the coaching stipends there are some of the worse compared to counties of their size around the state.
-
Kenwood is now open as well this has been one of the biggest turnovers in one offseason for Montgomery County
-
What’s the word on the North East job it seems they’re in no rush to hire someone. Which would be a shame for those kids.

And some fly under the radar many times. You sometimes find those coaches that love to self promote themselves by sharing everything on social media. Never understood why someone wants all of their business to be on blast, other than for attention.
Unfortunately it's not about having everyone in your business, you have to self promote yourself now days and social media engagement is the biggest way to do it. Especially when all you're doing is networking with coaches, promoting your program and sharing ideas.

I hope he does good but if he keeps most of the same staff I’m sure it’ll be close to the same results as last year.
I wonder who gets the NE and Central job?Not sure about NE but I’m sure central will do an in house hire.
