Neither do we.
Don't pay attention to that clown. He thinks all private schools and teams that win 13 state titles recruit, simply because his own team (Jackson County) is no match for us.
I don't expect a cakewalk, but I do expect to control the game with our smash mouth offense. As mentioned in the 3A and 4A boards, I predict a 28-14 Alcoa win. So we're kinda close.
Been reading threads most of the year and have noticed that several posters seem to accuse us of recruiting after we lay the wood to their team. It's also obvious that those people are going to believe whatever they choose to believe. But it is what it is. We KNOW we don't recruit because we don't need to. The name "Alcoa" and our 13 gold footballs is enough to attract players to our program.
There's a term for people accusing us of recruiting after we defeat their team: whiners. Whiners don't play ball in Alcoa. Neither the coaches nor the community has time for that.
Like Randall Cobb said: All we know is work. All we know is grind.
Heard many people say that about Alcoa too. And then the game started......
Don't think this one will me much different for the Men in Black (and Red). Maryville wins.
As laughable as that Fulton prediction is, I haven't found anything to tell me otherwise, so I can't blame you there. And we had pretty much the same prediction for Alcoa, as I predict a 28-14 victory for the F5!!
Fulton takes this one. It's not if; it's by how much. I'm no Fulton fan at all, but Trezevant is outmatched here. I'm just interested to see if Trezevant will play Fulton the same way they played Greeneville 4 years ago. If so, this could get ugly.
Notice how the TSSAA really went after the big $$$ after the 2008 season, one year after the Brentwood Academy lawsuit was settled by the Supreme Court after 10 long years. Although the TSSAA won, it was a VERY costly victory. Go figure...
