  1. Amen on that. Looks to me like a few adults didn't get what they wanted and will belly ache this to death. Too bad the kids have to listen to all the BS and have a negative attitude before the new coach ever sets foot on campus. And some wonder why WC is a loser?
  2. Cotten isn't ready. Obviously the selection committee owned up to that fact. Even the Dibrell Mafia couldn't pull off getting him hired. What is this, his third time being turned down? Who knows, Coach Moore may have to cut the cord with the assistant coaches that's here now. I say clean house while you're own a roll.
  3. Solid choice. Not that it will really make a dent in the fact that the season will still have the same outcome. It's a loser no matter who has the job.
  4. You can be our assistant. Behind every great coach there's a wanna be, right?
  5. Since you are so enlightened, please explain what does common core have to do with athletics?
  6. I'm still trying to figure how you divide 100% by 3 and come up with 75% of a vote for one person. Good at math much?
  7. Tha AD doesn't make the choice on who to hire all by his lonesome. Check out who is on the selection committee as a whole. And you are also overlooking one important fact in all of this: replacing a head coach is one thing but keeping all the same dead weight assistants is another. Until WC cuts loose some of the goofballs on the coaching staff it wouldn't matter who was the HBC it would still be a loser organization.
  8. Unless the "mafia man" bops his nepotism wand on one of them of course.
  9. No coach is going to make WC a winner. Have you not heard of the Super 32? And if this so-called "young coach" you are referring to is all that hot...why is he even in WC? If he's that great, would he not have other options?
  10. Someone from an earilier post said that one of the Dibrell Mafia is on the school board. So, if that is the case, then there's your problem to start with.
  11. Sounds like they need to boot the main leader of this so called "Dibrell Mafia" from the committee that does the picking. Word on the street is he is on there to push his own agend and dole out a little nepotism. Looks like more than the coaches need a house cleaning but so does the board.
  12. Why would you bring up Coach Eades in this discussion? Really? Apples to oranges? Two different scenarios altogether.
  13. I do think before I type. Sure the kids want him to be their next coach. He is kid-like himself. Do you really think kids want a strong leader? No. They want a leader that will let them slide, miss practices and still get game time. Not that it will matter now that the Super 32 is happening next year. WC will loose. Even if your kid is Mr. Football.
  14. Respects him the most huh? Apparently your head must be stuck in the sand or up someone's rear end.
  15. Not saying a WC boy can't do it...just not "that" WC guy. Too immature to handle the pressure or bring the needed focus. You could put what he knows about football in a thimble. Just sayin'
  16. And one has had his shot at it and the other one has zip leadership skills/too infantile to lead a group of young people. Decisions, decisions....
  17. If the same people are making the hiring decisions year after year (season after season), then there is no wonder WC is a loser every year. And "if" the person on the board doing the picking and choosing has family that plays sports...isn't that nepotism?
  18. I can see the principal and the AD having some knowledge of football...but like I said earlier, what does Holmes know about football other than it comes on ESPN? :roflolk:
  19. The bigger question is who is on the search committee interviewing these people for the job. Same search committee=same results.
  20. What exactly does he know about football besides it comes on ESPN?
