A very bad loss for Northview, Greenback plays hard but no talent other than one kid, feel bad for them really, but glad they got the win!

It is showing JC having a lot more losses than wins, not sure I understand the first statement?

Looking at Harriman season up to this point , they look like they may put up a good fight? I have not seen them play , are they capable of leaving Meigs with a win tomorrow night?

Gonna be a great atmosphere! Lots of community support plus it's homecoming & senior night!! On a side note , Meigs will be without thier best defender for a few more games it sounds like , it shows when he is out, The kid causes opposing players a lot of frustration with physical on ball defense! He is a key part of the Tigers success!

Pretty good observation, although I believe our post player had mid 20s and most of them were in the paint! Don't feel bad , he drops that on almost everyone! He at times scores at will!

You are correct , Meigs whipped up on Harriman a lot last year, Pace is a great player but one great athlete does not cause many problems for them. What does cause problems is teams that defend well, attack the paint and teams that shoot well! Spot up shooters have torched Meigs this year , seems like every game teams light them up from the 3pt line! And some are below average teams that look above average against Meigs! (Greenback, Polk,etc.) I feel as if Meigs plays down to competition but will be ready for the Harriman game Friday, just like they were ready when Grace came down!

I don't blame ya one bit, I was hoping they could pull one off last night! Do you keep up with the district 4 teams 12thman? We played Oakdale twice last year and they gave us fits, if I remember correctly it was single digit wins both games. They did not graduate anyone , I feel as if they are a bad matchup for Meigs , they shoot the 3 often and well and have a great player inside in the smith kid! Hope we can avoid them in a couple of weeks!

If Meigs shoots well then they will win both games, if they don't shoot well , I am not sure they have the defense to slow down a team that is! I have not seen Harriman yet but I can't imagine them being more athletic than Meigs, not many single A schools on this side of the state can match them athlete for athlete from top to bottom of roster!

Sounds like a great game, should be a fun one to watch Friday night in Decatur on both the boys and girls side!

Well I am not gonna gonna sit her and claim that Meigs has anywhere close to a great defense, it's thier biggest weakness,besides leadership, but they can flat out light the scoreboard up! Given the chance, every kid on the roster can put up double digits on any given night!

Looks like Harriman gave up 53 pts to them both games, does that mean they don't play defense?

I predict 25+ this year! Watch and see!

After seeing the Harriman/Kingston outcome, not so sure Harriman could win in district 4! Tough loss to a mediocre team ! Losing 5 out of thier last 6 reg season games is gonna be frustrating heading into tourny play! Thats assuming they win at Tellico, which is not a given!

Harriman will be playing for 3rd place in district 3 , which would be like 1st place in disrict 4 IMO!

Meigs travels to Midway tonight! Girls game could be a decent one , boys will be over in the 1st quarter!

Meigs will win by 50 is the only prediction I have right now!

You are right about slowing it down , that is a huge weakness for Meigs, and I have a feeling Grace is going to try to expose that weakness in a couple of weeks! Nobody is going to run with Meigs unless they make it to the boro!

Just being realistic, the disrict 4 teams are playing for a shot at 3rd place at best in the region and that may be pushing it!

Central is the better team, Meigs is not far behind! Great game ! The Lynn girl is something else! Fun to watch !

I was expecting a 20+ win by Grace, just going off of scores posted from Harriman games, how does Meigs match up with Harriman,12th man?
