  1. Interesting...GHSAA has a rule under recruiting that does not allow this type of thing. An athlete in GA is not eligible if his/her coach moves and that athlete transfers to the school where the coach moved to for a full year...unless that coach is their parent/legal guardian. Does TSSAA have the same type rules?

    Chad Barger that you ?

  2. You get a new coach and he's keeping a volunteer coach? Correct me if I'm wrong, but it was said on here he is a volunteer coach. Are they firing all of the assistants at the school? You have a coach on staff that has head coach experience, it would be wise to keep him as well.

It's my Understanding Coley works at the school. Don't know about Jones but some seem to think he has wore out his welcome.

  3. Ok, I had never heard of him. It sounds like he is an up and comer. He coached three years under Barger and graduated in 2007? That means he was coaching when he was maybe 19 at the varsity level? Yes, I would agree with you. That's way too much for a youngun to have on his plate. Thanks for the clarification and what's the hold up with the new coach?

He is a good assistant but I think being DC was to much for him. He has a good knowledge of the game and one of the better coaches on staff last year. He needs another year or two to be a DC. I heard Webb is official will announce soon , just working on assistant openings and how many there will be.
  4. Actually yes you can get rid of them all. As long as you got a few teaching positions opening up and I do believe they will, the new coach can being in three or four paid assistants and then get a few volunteers if he chooses.

I heard they are only keeping one off last staff. I heard Coach Coley was only one going to be kept. Hopefully they can get a better staff.
