This guy can coach, I believe he will do well. Lost to a good Dobyns Bennett team by 1 in regionals this year. Has a good pedigree as an assistant at Scinece Hill and took a lowly MoEast team and made them relevant in a very tough area of kids to work with. Is also a top notch teacher. As far as coaching goes he will, in short time, be a top 5 coach in the area IMO.

Alcoa gets a good one in Ryan Collins from Morristown East. Good hire here, has done well at MoEast.

We shall see, insiders suggest differently. Maybe he wont take it but there has been discussion according to people very close and inside the situation.

Big hush name to watch here is Jeremy Parrott from Bearden. May be a little nervous about what may be coming down the line for him after leaving his studs in all year even when up 30+ points or being exposed without all the best collective talent in East TN (or arguably the state).

Also 90, u talked about offense but never acknowledged or addressed the defense statements, seems we are in an agreement on that. Basketball is a game played on both ends.

Looks like the REAL hater has shown his colors here 90!! 1 post is because I just joined. U seem to be a little salty about Payne, who in my opinion is and will be the better college basketball player. Im sure ur Cookeville buddies have spoke nothing but the truth about their best player leaving. He obviously moved with his parent, that seems to have a lot to do with jealousy lol. Grow up 90.

90 why would William be jealous, his son IS on the ballot for Mr. Basketball. I will remain anonymous here, whether that bothers u or not so be it, I have watched the Henderson and Payne kids play, as well as a lot of the top players in the state. The glaring difference between those 2 is wwant and DESIRE. Henderson has ZERO desire or want on the defensive end, unless it's to run a ball down for a possible dunk. The kid is as talented as anyone in the state offensivly but has no heart on defense. There's a reason D1's have passed him up and are still in gyms for the Payne kid SERIOUSLY considering him, with a couple of actual offers from what I understand. White Co has a good team and I believe are at their best when the Crossland kidis firing, he is the catalyst. There's a reason when teams go box and 1 it's on Crossland not Henderson. Henderson has impressive offensive #'s but will likely end up at Cumberland University because of the defense. The jabs are real, but both players can play. It doesn't matter the level, college basketball is good at any level really. But I've just read this post and I understand supporting ur players and it's great, but please be realistic when gettimg on here saying such and such is D1 without any base besides a biased opinion. D1 is a differnt level and takes a complete game, that's hard to find.
