Well I see Stone lost to Cannon. That's a bad loss for them. Do they have a injury on the team? They seem to be on a downward spiral these day.

Well I pulled for the under dog twice and they both let me down. Cookeville played Crossville a close game but the better team wins. Took Jackson Co. over Picket got beat there also. Easy pick with Stone and White, I thought White might beat Warren a little worse, but be honest I thought Warren has some decent talent. Couple of pretty good shooters and a impressive girl off the bench. I was also impressed with #12 for White off the bench with a couple of others and always Luna and Leftwich taking care of business. I think the chemistry for White is getting closer but still needs quite a bit of fine tuning. I do wish we ran more plays and less bombs away. We don't seem to be good enough behind the arc for everybody to be launching the long ball. Just my opinion.

That's exactly why I picked Cookeville. Crossville has beat them up and down the interstate. Their is only one stat that says Cookeville might win. It is, Even a blind hog finds a truffle every now and then. I'm calling this game the truffle.

I do like the patriotic theme for tomorrows games. And I do like to pull for the underdog, so I am also taking Cookeville over Cumberland in a shocker. I think Cookeville breaks the press and makes Crossville play slow ball. This in turn will allow Odem to out coach the Cumberland coach and gives Cookeville the 5 point win. Next the White co. / Warren co. game will not be as patriotic. White co. new coach starts to smell the roses, pulls a couple of starters early, sees the chemistry is better this way and we take out Warren by 20. At least 20. Last we have Rhea against Stone. This is where Rhea decides football is their game. Stone wins big! My bonus pick for the week is Jackson co. over Picket at Picket. Watched the Picket girls Monday. 20 something turnovers against us. They do that against Jackson co. It'll be a blowout!

My personal opinion is he might need to go ahead and bite the bullet, piss off a couple of the parents, and make a line up change or two. I feel like he has a couple of girls on that bench that maybe better than what he is starting right now. I understand he's the new guy on the block and don't want to ruffle any feathers. Lets face facts, we all know and can see he has a weak spot that needs attention. We may not be loaded with talent, but I think we may have better talent on the bench that need to be considered.

Were not as down as one might think, we may not be Cumberland but were not Rhea either. And lets not forget all those girls from last years team, only one is even playing ball this year on a mediocre scholarship. Those girls were good because they played good together. Their wasn't a girl on that team that I would call a "true athlete." Good players for sure. The chemistry on this years team is off a little. Passes aren't as pretty, plays are off just a little, defense is suspect. New system makes sense for now, but when does that become an old excuse?

If were losing, we'll da mn him to h e l l. To get on here and start pointing the finger at the girls saying who is better and who is worse is pathetic. You should all be ashamed for doing it. I am not going to point the finger at any of the girls. But I don't have any problem pointing it at the coach, he's the leader and he should be able to take it, even if his fans cant. Well were going to have to agree to disagree. I stick with one of my first post of the year. Cumberland one, Cookeville two, and if Whites not somewhere around three, I consider that a loss for the coach and you should to.

Those three players played a lot of minutes last year. Are you telling me they forgot how to play ball over the summer?

I remember last year at the start of the season, everybody said we were down, we lost too many seniors the year before. (Hudgens, Foster, Roberts, Cash, and maybe Wilson (cant remember). All starters. So we started the season (2014) with at least 4 new starters and had a great year. Its the same deal this season. All anybody is asking is to be competitive this year. Some of us in White co. has noticed we don't look very strong this year. And we are starting to question the coach some. All I'm asking is, if the season goes as its been said on this thread "last in the district" Are you, the Dodgen fans, going to be able to eats your words with dignity? Or is it going to be Dodgen's the greatest and the players aren't good enough.

All I know is this. These are the facts. Last year Logan started every game, Luna first off the bench, Leftwich right behind her. These girls played well all year. I know this because we won the district and the region. I have a hard time believing that we went from Region champs to last in the district. That math doesn't add up. The only common denominator that I see is the new coach. I'm starting to point the finger at the new coach for numerous reasons. Like , Where are the programs? Why are we wearing black? Why hasn't the Warriorettes web site been updated? Why do we play man on a match up zone? All these questions were answered last year. Again, only one common denominator. Anybody want to guess?
