I wouldn’t go that far. They was chippiness on both sides. I mean they had to remove the York cheerleaders from the sideline due to ER coaches squirtin water on them. I mean it starts at the top. The only reason I know that is because they were escorted right in front of the group of guys I was standing with and 3 were cryin and one told her parents and we overheard her.

What in the world? That's insane.

There must be only one side of bleachers on that field?

In a game that has nothing to do with me or mine I'm still on your mind. Weird. Does your ole lady know?

MC has 2-1,000 yd rushers to me advantage shifts even more to MC, I think McKenzie's path to victory would have to come through the air with and excellent game from #14. MC is begging for this game to be played in a phone booth!!

Agree the rain gives Moore a leg up. McKenzie wants to pass consistently. Moore can but they don't have to.

I sent it to your AD the other day, but here it is.

We also have a number they call and listen on their phone: 1-631-793-5253.  Sometimes it may not work.

I hate to tell you but that link never works. At least not in my experience and I've tried to listen in on y'all several times over the season

It takes all different types of people to have a community.  You can’t have the good without the bad. There are plenty of problems in medina as with anywhere else.

I didn't imply Medina was plesantville. But introducing students and parents who don't have shared goals isn't good for anyone. It's not Medina's burden to lift the Humboldt community

You just made my point, if you can afford to not go to Humboldt City Schools you don't go there. Like BPM just posted a few posts earlier Humboldt has a lot bigger issues than hiring a football coach. I was also there last year and it was crazy to say the least. I did not allow my two younger sons (7 and 2 at the time) to even go because of the problems they have had in the past with security at athletic events. All you have to do is check out Windy City Road heading out of Humboldt and into Jackson every school day to see how many families are choosing to send their kids to private schools in Jackson. It is an absolute traffic jam between 7:30-8:00 and 2:45-3:15.

Oh I'm not disagreeing one bit. South Gibson has quickly put themselves among the best in the area across all athletics and academics as well. They'll do whatever they can to keep that in tact

Not to sound bad or anything, but the people that have bought 250k to 500k houses in Medina will not have their kids go to school with the students at Humboldt. They will continue to do everything in their power to make sure that the Humboldt kids do not go to South Gibson. I know it is not a popular thing to say, but that is the reality. Take it as you want, but that is the facts.

Alot of kids in the town of Humboldt already go to South Gibson or private schools. That's why a town of almost 8k people has a school with the same enrollment as WC (our two main towns Atwood and Trezevant have like 1100 and 900)

yea i’m sure they have more playmakers that took their place but i doubt they’re as good as the last couple years. also are they younger or upperclassmen?

They're a very good team this year but imo not comparable to last seasons gold ball team. Pretty sure they have a bunch of juniors though so next year they'll be right back in it again.

  9. Rough rough times ahead in Humboldt as far as football goes. This was the most talented team they'll have for a while...and they went 0-10. Unless someone like Gary Rankin decides to take Humboldt on as a charity case I just don't see it going well for them anytime soon. I wonder where 77 plays next year. Apparently he flirted with the idea this past off-season think 0-10 was the nail in the coffin.

Lots of great people live in Walnut Circle and that part of our community. Actually some of the best athletes that McKenzie has produced lived there. I think you should mind your words before trying to demean our town.  You say your an adult then act like one. Stick to talking ball. Shouldn’t be talking about the speck in someone’s eye when you have a log in yours.

I know that's the only reason it still stands. LMAO

Say what you wanna say, it made Tennessee football exciting to me. Especially watching Lipscomb playing against the top teams from other states.  This is what I have been asking of the top teams in Tennessee to do every once in a while. Also I know the University of Tennessee fans are not complaining!

Agree it's been nice seeing top tier teams who aren't afraid to leave Tennessee
