How many are we thinking will be out because of the fight? Are there any McEwen posters on this board or will this turn into another thread about Huntingdon/Cornersville?

I hope Wayne County takes care of business against Huntland. I want me some Wayne County.

Just make sure all the Corneysville boys are 100% healthy. No excuses when you Bulldogs roll into town in 3 more weeks and leave as pups with your tail tucked between your legs after the Mustang Stampede!

4.7 or mid 4.6 is probably a lot more reasonable for sure.  4.5 are far and few between. I can only think of 2-3 in that range the past 50 years at SP.

I've read qb/rb for Greenfield ran a legit 4.3 2 different times on the laser at camps. That's NFL fast if true!

Well all I can say is what about last year with the junior loaded team from cornersville  just wondering same players a heck of alot bigger faster and stronger  we lost 2 people  but also have a junior class of 13 or more coming up that's played  as freshman  not the whole class but 3 to 4 of them have so I don't understand  your  Logic

    21 juniors for Huntingdon

With the regular season ending & playoffs right around the corner I'd like to see what everyone grades their own respective teams:

    Huntingdon Mustangs: (9-0)

Offense:  A+ total points scored 463 averaging 52 points per game.

Defense: B- Given up 145 total points, opponents averaging 17 points per game. This can be little misleading with starters not playing.

Special Teams: A- 46 yrd field goal (total points unknown). Team struggled on kickoff coverage

Overall: A- Couple quality wins over some higher classification teams. Milan/Waverly/Camden

Not bad for a defense full of juniors with 2 seniors starting

  5. I'm gonna give those Corneysville Pups their props. That game was the hardest Huntingdon was hit all year and they didnt like it. Had some key players get banged up in that game. Everyone is saying it's the same team back for Cornersville that won by 1 pt in double OT. Well this is a completely different Huntingdon team. New QB new backfield new o line and d line new linebackers. We will find out in 5 weeks if they can hang with the same Cornersville team from last year

  6. Cornersville scored 2 TDs on busted coverage last year. huntingDon QB suffered a concussion early in the game and kept playing. Starting tailback was injured during the game. Goalposts in Corneysville still arent regulation Yada yada yada. No excuses this year. You will get the Stangs at 100% on the magic carpet

2 4-4 teams and a team with a defense comparable to a block of Swiss cheese.

Cute, little wins but not on par with TC/SP victories. Whitwell went to The Creekbank and pulled a victory so extra points there.

You Cornerysville Pups have no idea what you are in for when you roll in to Paul Ward Stadium come Round 3. This team is junior and senior heavy and have had 1 game circled on the calendar all year and it's this one! Not sure what you thought about last years Huntingdon team but this one is better. 5 MORE WEEKS!
