Congrats Alcoa on a 9th straight title and another impressive win.
Looking forward to another grudge match next year at Pistol Creek.
Do you all lose a lot from this years team? I know my Rebels have a good bit to replace on both sides of the ball but we will be alright - Next man up right?
Anyway Merry Christmas and Happy New Year BC and F5.
Offense will be loaded again. Defense will lose several starters, but should be fine. Nix and Gamble have been the most consistent part of this team since they got here. Next man up for sure!
Congrats on your Championship win.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

What I’ve seen & heard , 12 was the better QB, agree???
Two totally different style QBs. 12 forced our OC to run a bit more conservative passing game. Most everything was 10-15 (high completion %) yard passes. That along with his foot speed was an almost perfect fit. On the other hand, it was very nice to have 2 capable QBs to get us through the meat of our schedule. 16 had some very nice drives in some tough games to keep Alcoa in the winning column. Wish him and his parents much luck moving forward.

I used to sponsor back in the early 2000s.....before it was acceptable. If you've been there long enough, you know who the contributors are.

This will come down to who can dominate the line of scrimmage, I expect this one to be a competitive game just like last year

I'm a friend of a friend of a friend of GCHS and I love listening to Neely and Bledsoe call a big game, but I can't pick the Bobcats to win this week.
It's just always funny that Alcoa fans know they have an All-Star team, they know they will win the 3A title for the next decade-plus, they know they will continue to produce insanely talented D1 and eventual NFL players.
Yet they get on this message board every week and every year and talk smack to other schools like it's a fair fight.
Congrats on going back to Chattanooga, 'Nader Nation. And congrats on Gold Ball #76328761378613.
Alcoa talking smack? C’mon man. You say something nice about our program, we say something nice about yours. Then, some clown comes on and starts throwing homo crap. On the other hand, someone’s dares to give it back and Alcoa fan is at fault. Listen, if you can’t take it, don’t dish it. It’s not that difficult….

I'm sure it's just an old internet rumor and nothing REMOTELY close to true, but doesn't Alcoa have an enrollment cap? Yanno, to kind of, uh, remain 3A?
Probably not the answer you want to hear…..Nope.

Thanks for the video of the game. #2 and #7 each got one catch on the first drive of the second half and then did not touch the ball the rest of game. #2 did get hurt but came back in on both sides of the ball. What a shame that #2 and #7 gave there all for GP and only got one touch each when the game was on the line and when the game was all but over. #23 the recruited one gave great effort but stopping one guy is easy for a team as good as Alcoa. Alcoa did whip GP up front on both sides of the ball but any good coach finds ways to get the ball to his playmakers. I guess GPs coach was too busy updating his resume and taking selfies on the sidelines.

Alcoa is the standard bearer in my opinion when you talk about building a program that athletes want to play at and coaches want to coach at. Having them in 4A would make for some great games. Don’t get me wrong it’s kind of one of those things where you love to play the best but you hate the thought of playing them because of how good they are.
I completely agree. Much appreciated UCS!
