Beech felt like they should have won because the game was 7 - 0 and a young fullback for the Bucs fumbled on the 1 inch line going in (I won't argue he was in because it's a moot point). But I understand what you mean. I am not looking forward to the possibility they will meet again.

Don't forget in 12 the QB went 13-14 to pull out a late win against Wilson Central. Hurd only had around 100 yds in that game.

You're just saying that because Gallatin struggled against them. They may not be a bad team, but there is no question as long as the current staff is there they will be mediocre every year.

Is it fair to say they have had a dozen different coaches since Barnes? Or possibly more? If that is the case surely one of them tried to turn the program..? If you have hired that many coaches in that span and you get the same results........ Just saying

Just curious: WC has not had a winning season since the early 90's. How many different head coaches have they had in that span? Which one was the best? Which one hurt the program the most? Again I'm just curious because there is definitely something wrong but traditional logic seems to defy this program. I hate it for the youth of this community.

Beech can throw it when they need too. Both teams will score a good number of points, I think it will come down to who converts the most 3 and med to long. Turnovers will also be a factor obviously. Tough to say - I will go with Beech pulls away late, but if G town wins it will not shock me in the least. They have to hold Mason to 150-180 if they want to seal it.

Yeah that was a miracle. I also remember how hard Gallatin hit in that game. Legitimately knocked off Haymer's helmet. I give him props for continuing to run, but man he got smacked.

5-6 that year

In 09 the Wave won a hard fought game at shackle island stadium in the regular season. The TB broke off a long run that ended up being the difference. In the playoffs of that same year there were more ppl at that stadium that I have ever seen (Hville 12 would be the only game that rivals attendance). That still goes down as one of the best high school football games I have ever seen. Both sides absolutely played their guts out.

When was the last time WC had a winning season? I'm not trying to be mean, but I cannot remember one from the last 20 years, but I know there is one in there somewhere....?

Looking forward to this one. I think it will come down to the wire. I will be in attendance because I want to see the battle in the trenches. The TV cameras don't always catch the big boys doing battle.

Hville, because they are better in every facet of the game.

I thought Springfield would be better. If they move up, they are going to have some tough years ahead.
