East's 0-5 record sure didn't matter last year. West couldn't do much of anything against them for a long time. Game was closer than the score. I hope West's offense shows up and doesn't get conservative again.

Hope West can pull it out. Don't know how last week's bye will have an effect on East or not. They sounded like they just won the super bowl 2 weeks ago.

West on paper, but Central proved again that paper is worthless here. And it's the City Championship so all bets are off. Who wins?

I'll give credit where it's due, as Central had enough character to stay together and make the comeback. But coaches made questionable calls is an understatement. Our offensive play calling has been horrendous the last 9 seasons. The kids are great and the talent is there, but the coaching hasn't been. Don't understand why they kept setting up Foreback to throw such low percentage passes. Not trying to take away from Central, but this loss was 100% on West's coaching.

Hardly anything surprises me anymore with our play calling.

Add this to the list of losses that should have never been in the Lamar Brown era. Pathetic.

Can't blame the refs there. If the coaches hadn't botched it, it wouldn't have even mattered.

That screen pass in the final 2 minutes was pathetic. And it cost them. Play calling has been pitiful for the past 9 seasons. This is nothing new hardly.

No reason West shouldn't win but I've seen them lose to Central before even with the better team.

If this logic was valid at all then Miami would kill Tennessee by at least 30 based on Appalachian State.

West's offense didn't show up until last week, and that again was against a bad defense. I'll have to see more from the offense before I believe they've worked the kinks out.

Even a Larry Slade coached defense couldn't stop West last year. Our penalties killed us last year or it would have been worse. West should win, but I've seen some funny things happen the last 9 years.
