I think Giles by 14+. Overall team speed will be a killer. Giles running game is great and the passing game is greatly improved and getting better. The defense is fast and swarms to the ball. Special teams have been great all year. But a penalty here and a mistake there it could be closer.

Mistakes do happen. Heck my screen name was supposed to be Rooster. But bad eyes, fat fingers, and well a couple of Yuengling later and I’m stuck with Roostet.

Both teams playing great. Bobcat defense has been playing lights out. Hope we have enough for a tough Loudon team.

I’ll get it started. The boys have a 24 hour rule but I don’t.
Giles County’s defense looked impressive throughout the game.  The offense missed some big play opportunities early but handled their business. There were way to many penalties again. Some were phantom holds but we gotta control the ones we can.

I wouldn’t say any team is garbage. They are all just kids who try hard. I am super excited about the game and hope we can pull it off. Go Bobcats!

I have heard mc is loaded. There will be lots of wins with Osteen there and u are correct the gold ball goes through East TN. This has been a fabulous offseason for Giles...will be interesting over the next few weeks to see how the Giles staff rounds out...weight lifting and speed school start next week!

What days will speed school be?

Heard today that there will be a lot of changes at all levels of coaching in Giles County, from middle school to the highschool. Has anyone else heard these rumors?

FYI the 4A school in the thread topic got their ####e$ whooped by this lil 2A school in scrimmages more than once last summer.

That's as close as you will come to getting an answer since none of these teams will be on our schedule. If you have nothing to add to the topic of this forum then kick rocks. They have to talk on this thread because no one cares about their team enough to make a thread for it. Giles had an awful year and Marshall had a great one. That's who is being talked about.. (Now, add in the fact of OC returning, Marshall county is loaded, Little Bo, and an Osteen/O'connor coaching match up) This type of thread is only way anyone will read anything about their team.

Wouldn't little bo have to sit out a year, even if Bo was coaching here? Also, does he even want to come back? He obviously left Giles to go where Osteen is. Osteen is not coming. Or is he?? Lol

i can tell you for a fact there wasn't any year round practice in the indoor facility. Speed school yes but never a year round team practice. Second according to an earlier post, the kid was in the room with the MC coach when the text was sent out to OC. Everybody knows MC wanted OC on a platter back then. Spells set up.

I can testify the speed school deal is true. My son was a 5th grader at the time and he went.
