Sorry. Just spotted his name mentioned above.

What about Najee Ray? He's got a ring too.

This game resembles the Northeast vs. Henry County semifinal in 2013. Northeast made a trip to Paris during the regular season and barely lost. The Eagles felt like they should have won that game and when HC made the trip to Northeast for the semifinal game, Northeast thought it was a done deal...they were going to win and go to Cookeville. HC demolished the Eagles and went on to win the Gold Ball. The Patriots have been here and done that. I would love to stay with my 56 point HC offensive prediction in which I have been right on the number the last three games, by the way. However, I do not want to witness the nakedness of a Jacket fan at Midfield this Friday night. HC 49 Springfield 13

By the way, Joe Gaddis pronounced it "Mumford"

HC defense knows how to slow him down.

Henry County - 35
Munford - 28
I'm basing my prediction this week strictly based on the numbers. Munford has only been held to 28 or fewer points on offense in only 3 games this season. The Cougars have only allowed 1 team this season to score over 30 points and that was Covington in game 1. I still think this will be a close game either way you look at it. I have learned you better respect these type of teams like Munford has especially in the playoffs and at their home. I love the way the Patriots have been playing the last 3 weeks but this will be a good measuring stick to see "how good are we?"
GO BIG RED!!!!
28 points is being very generous to the Cougars. I am certain that HC's defense is much more stout than Portland's. I don't see the Cougars getting the same number of points against us, for sure.

HC has hit its stride at the right time. 56 is the magic number again this week. Beat Portland 56-0 two weeks ago and Mumford seems to be about the same caliber. I'll give Mumford a score since they're at home though. 56-7.

Don't remember a crowd as bad as this past Friday night since 2003. Hopefully back to full force this week though.

Your wish will come true, and then some. Running clock by halftime.

HC Rolls Big Time in this one. The MOJO is back. Almost the Exact same score as last week. But DC hits a three pointer at the buzzer.
HC 56 DC 3

One dimensional team that can't pass?! I'll take HC all day in this one. HC beat Kenwood by 31 and Portland beat Kenwood by 5. HC by 26 in this one, 33-7.

I agree MSU. You go to Kentucky and lose, that's not good. Unless you're playing basketball of course.
HC bounces back big in this one. HC 38 Paducah 16

I now take back my prediction. It will be worse

Here's to analytics: HC 41 Gibson 0.
The only tossup in this game is going to be the coin.

-
Gibson will probably drop HC off the schedule as soon as possible after this.
-
HC by as many as they want. Gibson doesn't get on the board. Two shutouts in a row for HC defense.

HC 27 Brentwood 24 in OT, and then rolls through the rest of the season undefeated. Mark it down.

With a healthy Wade, Summit hangs 50 on Brentwood easily. This is as evenly matched a game as you will see. I smell overtime.

"Soft" Defense makes a stand at the end. HC 23 Beech 17

This one goes to OT, boys. HC 30-24

I am a firm believer in the Team concept. I agree that HC is the more complete team. That being said, I believe that the most complete team wins over 50% of the time.
-
A good dose of Mr. Johnson (should've been Mr. Football) will take care of the time of possession.

HC 34 Summit 17.
Then, The Patriots go to Cookeville and beat our ole Pal Coach Gaddis 24-10 in the Championship.
