  1. You misunderstood me I think......That's what I am saying, they're old and been in use since the 70's...ALL of them! Even the ones on either side of the main bleachers. Yes...plenty of crevices to drop your babies in! LOL! The main section had a facelift, but the outer ones, HA, watch out brother! Know what I do??? Stand along the fence!! If y'all can't find a place to sit, by all means come on over and grab a milk jug to shake! Or stand along the fence with me! Be safe and don't speed through Cornersville!
  2. I attend every Home LC game and I can tell you, Don Thomas and the rest of the has been Coaches have let that program sink to its lowest levels EVER! Then throw in a County -City School split and there goes all of the that talent. All that is left is a few sparse players from Flintville, Blanche, Petersburg & Park City. Don Thomas can't get half of them to play because nobody wants to work that hard to play for a loser. If he has said anything about the MC program, it is out of jealousy and down right pathetic. A Coach at MC gave a player a ride across town to practice and we paid for it. MC staff is being very careful I would think, so let Don Thomas cry all he wants to. I just wish he would leave LC. Cain McWilliams was playing for Class A Fayetteville, not much of a challenge there I guess and I don't blame him for leaving. Don Thomas is about to start feeling the heat, especially when they could most likely take Kelly Holcomb away from Riverdale! Let him cry...Go Tigers!!
  3. I hope that is correct...man there really is a need for bleachers on the Viz side. They've been using those since the 1970's! No Lie! Past due for Upgrade! Go Tigers!
  4. He was one of the best ones to ever Coach at MC. Definitely THE best Baseball Coach at MC. Yes, he is a super nice guy.
  5. Yes Sir...Coach Bob Edens and Defensively Coach Joe George.
  6. Agree with everyone that it is indeed past time for MC to build a new field and Stadium...way past time!
  7. Someone mentioned the field conditions on Friday night if it rains. I'll tell ya', the man that got that field in shape, Coach Joe George, now retired, did an excellent job over the years making sure that it can handle a little shower and still be good for play. One reason being, the football field is our Baseball field outfield and Coach George being the baseball coach all those years really kept everything top notch. I don't know who cares for it now but they inherited something that that was really cared for. The rain chances are minimal Friday so if it does come a little shower, that field can handle it. The Parking lot will flood....but not the field! LOL! I loved this game against GCHS when I was at MCHS 83-87, in my opinion it's one of the best heated, hard hitting Rivalry's in Middle TN. Both Teams are good this year and there's more than one story line to this one! One of the biggest is Pride and braggin' rights for now! Nobody knows what the rest of their season holds. But after watching GC whoop Lincoln County last week, I know they have playmakers. Of course the Falcons are not worthy of basing an opinion on, I'm sad to report. In fact, Cornersville or Richland could prolly beat them this year. So we can throw that out as a measuring stick. Both teams have good QB's, good skill position players, good defenses and good Coaching. I'm hoping it's a clean game and no one from either side gets any serious injuries. This one is going to be a battle! I'm going to throw out my prediction, MC 28 GC 21. GO TIGERS! BTW...I'll be wearing my MC State Champion Football Ring. It's old and one of a kind but it just might bring some good luck! That is something both teams will need Friday Night!
