I can't believe there isn't a thread for this game yet. I don't post much but love reading the comments throughout the season. Lake County has always seemed to have a decent following for a small school but it seems to me the Falcon Faithful is in a decline. 

My prayers are with you and your family for your loss Brother.

I was told by my son who was at the meeting of present and former players called by Coach Puckett that he asked for a raise and was refused by the administration. I don't know what he was asking for but I would bet my life that the Citizens of Lake County would have made donations to assemble the amount he was requesting. I know I would have. 

The cost of that new gym floor might have better spent elsewhere! I hate to see him go but completely understand his decision. Gold balls and Championship rings don't pay the bills. 

I'll wait until tomorrow night to say I told you so.....

Whether or not he was telling the truth, I don't know. Simply stating what he told me. 

Spoke with a referee today that has worked 3 Huntington games and 2 Lake County games this season. He said he predicts LC by 20. His reasoning was that Huntington won't be able to overcome Lake Countys speed. He's been refereeing 20+ years and knows football. 

We will finally find out which one wins championships. Offense or Defense. 

Both teams are top notch on both sides of the ball. 

Good luck to both teams and whoever wins next week, let's bring that gold ball back to West Tennessee where it belongs!

3 quarters of Varsity and 1 quarter of junior Varsity is what I was told. 

Croud is starting to pile in. Now if we could get them to stop trying to set up tents in front of the pressbox, all would be good. I can't even see the scoreboard and I'm running the clock!
