    I can't believe there isn't a thread for this game yet. I don't post much but love reading the comments throughout the season. Lake County has always seemed to have a decent following for a small school but it seems to me the Falcon Faithful is in a decline.

    Hopefully the Falcons can find the leadership and drive that was sorely missing last week. Hate I'm going to miss it but I'm headed to St. Louie to see the Red Birds get spanked by my Braves! CHOP ON!!!

    I was told by my son who was at the meeting of present and former players called by Coach Puckett that he asked for a raise and was refused by the administration. I don't know what he was asking for but I would bet my life that the Citizens of Lake County would have made donations to assemble the amount he was requesting. I know I would have.

    The cost of that new gym floor might have better spent elsewhere! I hate to see him go but completely understand his decision. Gold balls and Championship rings don't pay the bills.

    I have no reason to lie about what the man told me! Whether or not he was telling the truth, I don't know. Simply stating what he told me.

    Spoke with a referee today that has worked 3 Huntington games and 2 Lake County games this season. He said he predicts LC by 20. His reasoning was that Huntington won't be able to overcome Lake Countys speed. He's been refereeing 20+ years and knows football.

    We will finally find out which one wins championships. Offense or Defense. Both teams are top notch on both sides of the ball. Good luck to both teams and whoever wins next week, let's bring that gold ball back to West Tennessee where it belongs!
