Don't be a Tall Tail Teller. Nobody believes HC will be whooped or manhandled in their own house. And the CHS faithful know that it is a tall order to simple get a Win in Paris.

But for the first time in a long while, we actual have hope and believe we have what it takes to beat the Mighty Patriots.

There's a lot of football to be played tonight, and both sides win if it is a hard fought, close game.

Good Luck Patriots. May both sides stay healthy.

    Go Cats!

    Very well said!!

word from across the river is this is the year that CHS is going to put a whoppin' on ole HC.  Getting people back from injury.  Think it should be a good one.  Hopefully RHS does well tonight.  Hood maybe getting it turned around.  He just may not be able to do a great job in the first game of the season but seems to pick it up after that.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

CHS could lose by 1 on a last second FG and they still wouldn't be any respect. That's ok though, gotta win every once in a while to get that and CHS hasn't. I will just go with the HC folks and say CHS has no talent.

I will be the first one to congratulate Clarksville High if they come to Paris and knock off Henry County in Patriot Stadium. That stadium WILL be rocking I can promise that!!! Louder than the Haywood game!

I am looking forward to the game. No matter what HC is always a good host to us. I will have more than one Fried bologna sandwich, but will not disclose the final number to my wife.

I will say too that I have no kid on any team (used to), I just love Friday night lights and this should be fun to watch.

Haha enjoy yourself buddy eat plenty!!

Most seem to think there is no challenge to be had. I saw Haywood last year vs Springfield and they are a good team. I just seem to disagree with everyone one here that CHS has no talent. The college offers to a number of different players would say otherwise. I still think that HC wins a close game and I still think this offense will be the best HC has faced so far, especially if Watch plays at RB for CHS

Nobody said they didnt have talent.  I expect a good game but that 4th quarter WILL be special!

Sorry, just not true. I’ve seen CHS and they’re nowhere near as explosive, physical, or talented as Haywood. No comparison. Sure, HC could lose this game. That’s why they play. But I’ll take the challenge of stopping CHS over Haywood any day. As another one of our posters likes to say, “just the facts”.

    Thank you!!!

Since you all are already looking ahead to Cookeville, I guess it's time for me to man up.

I will be making the drive to Paris this Friday because I believe my Wildcats will upset the Patriots. And even if they don't, I'm confident that they will give you a whole lot more than you ever anticipated.

The  Yanker will not even come close with his over-inflated prediction this week.

    See you Friday :)

First off nobody is overlooking Clarksville I guarantee that. We do have potential to make it to Cookeville. But you best believe HC will be ready. I even said it would come down to the 4th quarter. I respect the heck out of what Clarksville High and Clarksville NE have both done this year. I'm glad because region 7-5A is no joke this year. The winner of that region is going to be hard to stop come playoff time. Now let's get on with the prediction....it will be hard for Clarksville to beat the Patriots at home. I will just bet that Patriot Stadium will the loudest stadium in Tennessee this Friday night. HC wins 35 - 28 with HC scoring late in the 4th.

Clarksville had a huge challenge last week defending the pass and should be better for it.

Hillwood lacks defense, but they have a solid offense with one of the better passing QB's I've seen in a while. I don't think they will see that kind of talent for the rest of the regular season.

I believe Olddevil said it best HMMM......

Thanks Pilgrim for that!! Great information

  11. Lets get this started. Clarksville High visits Henry County at Patriot Stadium. Being that Sorry Daisy and Oak Ridge both lost I would imagine NE would be ranked 3rd, Henry County 4th, Clarksville High 5th. Its potential for two top 5 teams facing off next week. Two undefeated teams both looking very good. Its going to be a playoff like atmosphere!!! If you cant get up for this game something is wrong!!!
