Last year's game that was on CW was played during a lot of rain as well I think.
Pretty sure it rained before the game and not during the game

Have any luck with Brainerd for next week?
Probably not. Sp program is apparently so hard up for money they will be hitch hiking to play your team in a few weeks.

Give it up. SP not playing this week. Move on...
Of course they aren’t playing this week. It’s Thursday. Maybe next week but who knows. We could role into the playoffs being 5-0 6-0. These boys need to play ball games or just cancel the season until the election is over reguardless.

Oh, and most sp folks expected mc to play after no practice for two weeks? How interesting.
Well after tuesday that would mean only 2 days of practice unless you would play on a Saturday and Saturday being first day of SEC football you know that isn’t going to happen. There was plenty of chances to reschedule that game but I don’t blame them. Who wants to see a beat down like that anyways year after year

That's a very nice gesture I am sure Coach Grider would appreciate.
Just saying. If 400 people will donate $100 to the qb club for a chance to win A prize this week then what’s the big deal of asking for donations?? When it comes down to a pure donation people get greedy but if it’s a chance for them to win something then heck yea do it. Look at all the money people waste on the lottery weekly.

SP not playing this week. It was announced to our kids yesterday. They will try and find a game next Friday. BGA cancelled yesterday afternoon on McCallie for covid reasons.
I knew after Tuesday it was too late in the week to accept a game due to practices. What’s gonna happen during playoffs when a team has to quarantine?

I bet mccallie would come to the pitt tomorrow. I bet they aren't too strapped for cash.
Let’s see it!!

Let's look at a typical game for SP that is an away game with some good distance like a Coalfield. You have probably 3k in pregame and postgame meals for everyone plus the charter bus rentals. SP will not travel because we would lose money. Home games are a must that replenish the account each year. We lost two huge gates and that hurts. A game will not be played over the next two weeks unless it's at Beene.
I’d donate $100 if 29 other people will and then the pre game meals are covered. It’s a blessing for the kids to ride a charter bus but is not necessary. Hop on the county bus and pay $500 in fuel. So what would be the excuse then? Like I said there is a lot of money that is in SP. if you can’t get 29 other business or people to donate $100 then there is t anyone in the community to back this program. We waste $100 monthly at a gas station or eating out on lunch instead of taking a lunch.

No, Gordy was coming to Coalfield.
From all the bs I have read SP will not travel for some strange reason. I’m all for it. At this point I don’t care if they play UT, I’m just tired of seeing how SP lost so much money and won’t travel. If a school will split the gate there is some money. If SP program is in that bad of shape they need someone else in charge of the money. We all know how much money is lurking the streets of SP and I’m sure the team could get some donations easily.

I hadn’t heard that. I did hear Madison Academy, AL turned us down. Some don’t want to travel, they’d rather find a home game for themselves, which I don’t blame them.
they aren’t much over an hour away. What about Madison county in Gurley?

We picked up maplewood but seriously a 2a team? No Bueno
A 1A team that’s not scared of competition. Hence why we had red bank scheduled then they had to cancel due to rona.

Want a home game.
A game is a game reguardless.
if the program is needing money so bad they will start asking for donations and i happily throw a few bills their way if that’s what it takes it carry the program over, and I’m sure I will not be the only one.

Reverse those directions and come on over. Lol.
I’ll gladly make that drive if they schedule it. We did travel 4 hours up to Kentucky when we played bell county. Sp travels pretty well

Hit 40E and veer onto 840E then 24E in Murfreesboro. Easy driving. 3.5 hour max

Rv on a lot is a permanent residence while you build your new residence. Kinda like saying if your house burns down and your having to live somewhere else while yours is being rebuilt would not be significant for a permanent residence. Like I said 2 more spots open

That's not legal.Has to be a permanent residence.Your trying to cheat.
As long as there is a mailbox and mail being delivered. Ain't nothing wrong loving in a rv while building your dream home
