Yes it was. Late hit after late hit and Coach White seemed to not have control of his team. You could tell Trezevant hasn't been hit in the mouth like that all year and responded with dirty play on and off the field

Stop talking about the 2010 team this not the same team and Coach White has got things under control now . Every since then t-high has been all good just ask 4a team that had to play them . Memphis football is getting like Memphis basketball now somebody will be in the big game . Just like ya'll got tired seeing Melrose and Orange Mound ,t.n. now it's Trezevant and Frayser,t.n

If Memphis East beat yall by 3tds there is no doubt Alcoa would do the same. You seem to forget that against a team like Alcoa you can't just give the Ball to your RB the whole game because Alcoa's D line would be in your backfield. Gary Rankin would scheme to make someone other than #5 beat them. You had to pull out a game against Marion County to win the championship and no offense to Marion County (great football team and very well coached) but they don't have the team Alcoa has.

Like a coach said a long time ago if we got all the good player that are in the frayser community . I mean nobody will beat them bet that and East RB AND QB played for the same peewee football team that play on there field.

you have to consider where Adamsville is coming from. Last year they were sure that they would be in the Semi against Trezvant. They said one man could not beat them. They were correct a TCA TEAM went to their house and beat them in the second round. So now they are on the boat that one player can beat you. In 1a and 2A a stud can carry you. BUT seeing Trezvant in person in the semi final CR is great but I am realistic to know that a Team can beat one man. In 3a and up you have more depth to field a team. So yes Trezvant would not be able to handle Alcoa, Marryville etc. heck Marion gave them all of the team ball that they wanted. Don't get me wrong trezvant is a good team but don't start throwing them around as the greatest in the state in all divisions. Let's keep it real. 2a

Yes Trezvant made a jump down but for the last four years they have play good ball in the playoff. You can say this and say that but until you play on the field you don't know what going to happen. That Trevant team was good but young to but the future look good in Bear Nation

I completly agree with the post!Alcoa and Maryville are the two best teams in the state of Tenessee period.Consistant coaching and unmatched talent year in and year out.I am a huge fan of Trez but cant use them in the same sentence when comparing these two juggernauts!

I hear the talk about Trez can not do to Alcoa and Maryville. But is the same program that went toe to toe against a great Fulton team at that time was rolling . 5 was a 10 grader then and was offense MVP in the game . Now the year as a senior with almost everybody back we go toe to toe with Maryville and Alcoa . T-high run from nobody set up I forgot you didn't people don't like a team from Memphis is dominating .

Selecting the players to get on these teams is a daunting task. Especially if your knowledge of the subject is limited to what you can find on the internet and a small amount of time to do research in order to get an article written and posted for your employer (USA Today). Not to mention that USA today does this for all 50 states. Throw in the fact that these people are making one big team with 1st team and 2nd team being comprised of football players from every class being combined into one team. After taking those things into consideration I think they did and pretty good job of it. I'm from Memphis so I am very familiar with the teams from the Memphis area ... but even then, I haven't seen every team from this area play because I attend the Whitehaven games. There are quite a few teams in my area that I only read about in the paper, or I've listened to the post-game high school football program on the radio after the games have been played on a Friday night,  or I watched them compete in the state championship game from watching it on the NFHS network, or something similar, or I've had conversations with others like me in the Memphis area who attend other games or know other folk who are fans or staff of other local teams.

 

I think that it is inevitable that some young man is going to get snubbed. It's just a numbers thing. I know a lot of you will look at the list and say, so and so should be a 1st team guy and yada, yada, yada. I even thought that Tee Higgins (Oak Ridge) and TD Blackmon (Maryville) should have been 1st team guys. But I don't know enough about the other guys that were listed on the first team in those guys positions to know which guy they should have left off or listed on the 2nd team in their stead.

 

Like I said, I think the writer did a bang up job considering the circumstances. It's not going to please everybody, but it is a decent stab at it.  

No he left out Justin Swift of Trezevant defense player of the year and Cordarrian Richardson 2nd team no . The city of Memphis had a lot great player

@Reitzfan. I know the staff at T-High. I think they get a bad rap from some of the CoachT posters. They have nothing but respect for every team in the state that they have played over the years. Hopefully you and all the other posters on here address these guys as individual fans and not as a representation of Bear Nation. I know Coach White will have those boys working hard this offseason. Hopefully they will be back in the big game because of it.

Coach White has done a great job in the hood he in and got young man been leader of tomorrow I am down with that . I Three nephews played for him and help coach and a lot of the young mans on my peewee team . He has a BEAR family that got his back so look for round two because here we come .BEARS NATION

With all the kids coming back this team is loaded yes losting Justin Swift will be big but there be ok .

Well I love all the players we all one big family these kids work hard for this and the coaches have a great job.This have been fun talk stuff so I hope to see a great game .

Part near guarantee you I have some kin on this MC team. They been atellin me that this Trezvant team hasn't seen an offensive like this all year! Your nephew better have Swift feet cause this offense is real sneaky! You think 8 no 11 has it then maybe 1 has it then boom 40 or 21 eats you up! Just sayin he better have Swift feet to keep up..
