I SAW MORE TRASH TALK FROM OTHER TEAMS THIS YEAR THAN ANYONE, D-B HADN'T TRASHED TALKED ALL DURING THE SEASON, YET WE STILL GET PEOPLE WHO JUST DONT KNOW WHEN TO SHUTUP, SAYIN WE STILL WERE. LOOK AT THE THREADS, S-D, HALLS, FARRAGUT ALL TRASHED TALKED LIKE THEY WERE THE YANKEES, D-B DID NOT. IF THERE IS SOMETHING I HATE MORE IS PEOPLE THAT DONT GET THEIR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE THEY OPEN THEIR MOUTH. THE GAME IS OVER, YES FARRAGUT WON GOOD JOB, NOW SHUTUP ABOUT IT, YOU GOT WHAT YOU WANTED, NOW GO TO STATE AND WIN, AFTER BEATING D-B I HOPE THAT YOUR THE ONES TO WIN STATE, BECAUSE I KNOW IF D-B HAD WON THAT GAME THEY WOULD HAVE.

I do hope you know by picking Farragut to win that means your picking the upset.....DB is a fine team this year and I think they are being underestimated. DB Wins it.

i think DB ended up winning 18-1 or 18-2. Great job defensively as they have been struggling in the past outings as Bo Burton went the distance. Also 3 homeruns were hit breaking the team total season record which was 38 and is now 39 and counting. Jordan Adams,CJ Stabler, and Aaron Marsh (which was the person to break it) was the ones who took it deep.

You are all incorrect, the team now has 33 homeruns. Which means 5 to tie, and 6 to break it. BTW the game at Greenville tonight was scratched, the next game is scheduled for Monday @ Science Hill

D-B won all four games..... D-B-Heritage 8-7 D-B-South Doyle 3-0 D-B-William Blount 9-7 D-B-Maryville 17-8 great tourny for the tribe, boosts alot of confidence and morale. They just need to stay focused....

I don't see why Jeff. Co. is crying....if the game went 7 innings, who knows how much higher DB's run score would have been. I think is was class just to end the game as quickley as we did. When someone slaughters you, don't talk trash after the game either like the ' so called classful' jeff co. players did after the game. yelling things like " better win your conference this year " and "I'm gunna kick your @$$" to the DB players. WOW how immature. You say DB has no class? Get a life, I'm sick and tired of all this whining and crying. You can stick it all and shove it, no one cares or wants to hear it. If you want to trash talk DB on your own thread, fine. I bet you money no DB fan will trash talk you back, because we know how it feels. The problem is you can't DH Bo when you are already DH'ing Tyler Joyce. The reason Bo is in there is for his ability to make something happen on offense. He is a very athletic player and for his first time playing first base last night wasn't too bad. People someday might realize that no matter how bad the coaching is (If it is at all) the players are the ones who win and lose the game, nobody else.

DB plays Gate City tonight in their first game of the coca-cola classic. Wesley Lane is getting the starting pitching role.

Might I add........about the Sports Belle....You say these teams didn't pitch their aces, and that may be true and I do belive it is, but what you haven't analyzed yet is DB didn't throw their aces either. In the seymor game the first two pitchers were pitchers who haven't even pitched all year in a Varsity game. The Knox Webb game they pitched two of their top pitchers (Tyler & Brad), and they won. In the bearden game they pitched Lance Brewer, which was stated in that article posted above is their # 8 pitcher, (which i think is a little bit over exagerrated but still u get the point). In the very last game they pitched Ryan Hammonds, which was his first start in a varsity game, also people that were pitched was CJ Stabler who has never pitched in a varsity, also Jamie Crawford who has never pitched in a varsity game. Was DB trying their hardest?? you tell me. This is the reason DB entered the tournament to try and distinguish who can step up and pitch. Sure they wont to win, but thats not the point of going to the tourny. In my mind, DB did a good job. I dont appreciate you trying to put down this team, when no one is trying to even put down yours. Try and keep the positive or dont post at all.

I thought Barlett was a very good team. Its good to play teams like that in a tournament situation.

Here we go again.......Another lame person that thinks that the coach's win the games by themself. What bad attitude are you talking about, this team has great unity, you obviously you haven't sit behind the dugout yet this year. The Indians have been behind each other all year so far, if you were sitting behind or near the dugout you would hear that.

The Indians are going to be pretty challenged next week Playing 3 important games for the conference race. Monday- East Tuesday- South (Away) Wednesday- Central Thursday- No Game Friday-Sunday- Sports Belle Tourny. So thats a possible of 6 to 7 games next week. Good luck to the tribe.

First of all there would have been no reason to cancel that game on purpose just to save pitching or anything of that sort because they rescheduled the game for next Wed. which would be worse than playing when it was suppose to be played, since that means DB will have to play 3 important games in a row next week (mon - Wed.), then have to play in the sports belle on friday. So that concept of Coach Ritz makin an excuse is closed, there is no reasonable backing for that theory, so just forget about it. Secondly, Unicoi is not even near DB, therefore the fields would be in totally 2 different conditions, and you know how DB's field looks like, it has the two hills behind the third and first base line making the infield soggy after a heavy rain plus melting snow. I dont know how you would know which field drains bettere just by looking at it?? Unless you are some sort of field management person, YOU wouldn't know. And Art, yes Tyler did go all 7 throwing his second shutout this year in his second start. No HR's where hit but Easton Ring stepped up hitting a Triple,Double, and Single with a couple of RBI's i think 3. About Nick Caldwell, he was sent off because he got into some trouble, and cannot return to DB. He plays at boone because some of his family lives out that way i think. He started the game and went 5 before they brung in another pitcher, i think he went 0 for3 with a couple of K's

Hightop you still didnt answer my question, why would we needed to save pitching? Also the field around second base was still soaked today, just some minor work on it and it should drain better. But the infield yesterday was way too wet to play on, even durning practice the players were't to step anywhere in it. Indians beat Boone tonight 7-0, great job. A thrid try at the home opener is set for tommorrow against Mo' East at 5!!

Why would he have needed to save pitching? Bo Burton and Tyler Joyce are already ready to go? Maybe you are wearing your hightop's too highand tight and it is cutting off circulation to your small brain.
