For now?

I agree, Loretto is young and still coming together, it's hard to replace what they lost from last years team. They will be a team to contend with the next several years. Summertown as well, they play 8 (1 Senior, 1 Junior, 6 Sophomores).

Not for long, Loretto plays Perry Co. Friday night (I pick PC to win) and if Loretto does win Friday, Loretto/Summertown play Tuesday.

Another lose FH, come on beast!

The Eagles played a good game, some players who had been struggling showed up and Wayne County self destructed.. I am sure the refs will be to blame for the lose, but it was tied really late in the 4th, 2 player technicals didn't help. They say their is no I in team, but Wayne County seems to have about 4 I's on their team. Very talented but seem to pull their rope in different directions instead of one.

The beast didn't get fed tonight looks like. A loss to a Wayne County team that's down this year.

Summertown with a nice road win against Forrest last night. But, things get real Friday night when Perry County comes a knocking. Season starts now!

Summertown beat Forrest at home by 28, then goes to Forrest last night and loses by 10 (approx.) They seemed to be uninterested from the tip. Taking nothing away from Forrest who payed very well and made the hustle plays to win. But, I watched this senior class 4 years ago as 8th graders come to play with the same non-intensity some nights. Hopefully, with the district portion of the schedule starting Friday night with Perry Co. and the return of senior Bryce Giles, the focus will be on point. Along with what I am sure will be a spirited/heated practice today!

Bryce Giles is set to return January 8, the first district game.

If that is Brown and Scott, I would agree that the "main players" we're there.

In our region, I know CA has the girl that's 6'5".. And they feed her the ball as I don't blame them.

Honestly, if you look across the entire district, you won't find any big post players. 5'10" is about it on average.

I think a lot or predictions are based on last year obviously. PC only lost a few I believe from last years team that was very good. Summertown only lost 2 role players at best from last year. Loretto lost 2 very good post players and a couple of guards I think. Collinwood lost their big post, And maybe some guards. I know Frank Hughes made so noise at the district last year and returning several a players. Wayne County is down again. These are general reviews of these teams, So we will have to wait until district play to see how everything shakes out. I do know the future for Summertown and Loretto should be bright. Summertown has 1 senior this year and will have 3 next year (only 1 that's plays consistantly). The majority of the team so comprised of sophomores, 3 start and 3 come off bench and play a lot.

Bryce Giles and Hunter Wallace got hurt in the Mt. Pleasant game. Adrian Price, another starter, got hurt in the CA game and didn't dress out at MP.. Pretty impressive win, also considering Ridner was in foul trouble the entire game but reentered late in the 4th and hit some clutch shots!

I don't think this is the Riverside team that made it to state. I know you put a lot of emphasis on a 1 point lose to them, the same team that Perry County beat by 22 tonight. Perry County is the team to beat in the district. It will be very difficult to play the sleeper role when several FH fans continue to say how good they are. I guess we will continue to feed the beast and see how things go.
