Travel Ball is getting more looks than high school, but it's not because of coaches trying to please parents (99% of the time anyway). Sounds like you're pretty bitter about your coach.

 

Travel gets more looks because of reasons mentioned above, along with College and High School seasons coinciding with each other.

 

I know of no parents that are happy with a coach who loses, regardless of their children's pt. I also know of no teams that have ever only given "2 daddy's kids" a look.

You 2 keep thinking it gets left in rec ball. Y'all are very very mistaken.

Macnarry is drunk on bobcat koolaid. Their defense couldn't even stop BJ. Why would you want to play for a losing program that's run by alumni and parents.

Looks like tackling is not allowed at McNairy central.

Wynn is way to soft to play with big 3A schools. Unless the hole is 10 feet wide he will not hit it hard. He will tiptoe. Bobcat cannot open many holes with that line. If Mel was healthy he would be dangerous. He will hit a hole hard. But his drawback is to many fumbles. Kel would be feature back if healthy.

Wynn can have all the speed in the world but when you are afraid to get hit it doesn't matter how fast you are.

As far as the defense. Of opponents rb gets past linebackers then it will be six. I don't think the coaches even look at defense on film or they would see that Only #8 will come up and actually try to tackle. The rest just dive to the side and touch the rb with a fingertip.

If they would put kids in that will hit and not be scared I think they could have beat SGHS.

But what do I know I'm not a coach. I guess I'm the only one who sees the 30+ missed tackles a game.

I will say South Gibson big. 52-6. You really can't say that McNairy has improved when they play a lower class 1A Bruceton and a awful South Side team. What do you judge the improvement on when playing teams worse than Themselves.

McNairy will win 1 more game the rest of year.

Central is really awful on defense. Got most of same kids on d as last year team. But when you got a coach that plays by paychecks that will happen every year. Got a really good offense. More reps will really get offense going. Maybe 1 year they will get coached that teach how to tackle. When some players go to knees and then dive behind a ball carrier is not how to tackle. And then trying to tackle with an arm stretched out to avoid a tackle is killing the defense.

But hopefully the offense will keep them in games and maybe squeak out a couple of wind again this year.

Well I have talked to several players on boys team personally. And they say all of them dislike Brown. All of them. Those boys don't play for Brown they play for themselves only. Brown yells and degrades those young men from tipoff to last buzzer. He needs to go. I think they should start process of hiring Coach Riley.

As for Lott he should cross on over to retirement. One of his main point guards will not be back next year because of Lott.

I see by yalls comments bone of you have taken the time to talk to the young girls and boys and see how they feel. Try that and then come and post what you here from them.

Obviously you don't go to the games. If you think he puts best players on floor why does he play his grandaughter so much. And about 2 more. Before you run your mouth go to the games and watch. But be sure you open your eyes while your there.

McNairy. I know you have known Lott for many many yrs but you have to take idol lust from your eyes and look with an unbiased eye. If you do that then you will see Lott is past retirement. Bobcat83 is right. Only a sister of those talented young ladies have respect for him anymore. They just will not play for him. And I hope the AD sees that and makes a change. Just like most of the young men can't stand Brown. If you don't respect a coach then they will not play for him. Hands Down.

And people like McNarry who can not take change is why Central sports is continually going downhill. There are several girls that will not be returning next year because of Lott.

Mcnairy. Look in all your stat books and you can see the decline in the last 4 to 5 yrs. You are so drunk on that McNairy kool aid you can't think straight. I guess you don't think there should be another boys coach either. All sports except baseball has declined in McNairy cause they keep coaches to long or hire the wrong ones. Unlike you everyone doesn't think it's all great. So get out of your little bubble and think for yourself.

I really think it's time for Lott to step aside. To much talent on that team to only score 22 pts in district game. But he wants to put players on the floor and sit the really good players down so they will not make his granddaughter look bad. Give him a choice. Retire or fire.

Macnarry. That is why Browder was pushed out. He wasn't playing some of boosters kids and friends kids. You need to put that in your stat book on why Browder left.

I think Frank's will be a good player coach. He knows how to motivate young kids. I hope he pulls in some good coordinators to help the team. I think he Will play some buddy ball. That's what will hurt the team.

Browder was forced out. He wasn't playing a boosters kid and glovers nephew. The locksmith and his other booster friends like bbq dude and Kirby dude got together and pushed out Browder cause he wasn't starting 2 or 3 kids. So they eased Glover in and their kids got to start and the program has went to #### since then. Buddy system at its finest. And you people that said he retired in his own are full of crap cause y'all are either friends with boosters or just don't know.

Thats why nothing will change with that kind of attitude. But if your ok with your kid sitting on bench because of buddy ball or how much money someone gives or big boosters well I say keep drinking the Kool-Aid and start kissing more butt. Getting involved will do no good when you can't keep up with the money. If you are happy with where your program is then keep sitting in stands and hope your kid will play some. 40. You Prolly alot older than alot of us in here for sure.

From what I take from bethel is that the Crabb guy carried him at bethel. Yea. Those two and several more are downfall. BBQ and Locksmith had alot to do with it also.

Well the inside politics has reigned supreme again in McNairy Central Buddy Land. From what I hear everyone can thank insurance guy and the yelling board member for that hire. I agree that's alot of headache to be in all those positions.
