I’ll tell you what... if we ain’t got our head screwed on we’ll take a another whipping at Orr Field... got one of the best running backs in the state returning, a QB with experience, and a monster at FB... I really like those youngins up there. Except when we play them.

everyone doesn't understand the intensity level of that game either.. Cloudland always ups their intensity and fire when they play us... we just shot ourself in the foot too many times this year....

so I guess "a big drop off" isn't really what it is.

In the end Happy Valley really was a good team. Alot of players from their side were good athletes. But,  Meigs defense is really better then what most people give us credit for. And our offense is one missed tackle away from a large gain or touchdown on most plays. It was a fun game to watch

I try to tell our boys that lol.. don't let others have a chance to say you're over rated.. be consistent, work hard, and shut people up with your play, regardless of who we play. 

I believe we can make it back to that point.. just have to learn to lay in the weight room and have discipline... like I said you have to have a HEART to want to do that. 

I know our sophomores and juniors have a sour taste in their mouths.. cause they're already putting in work. "45-14" makes you feel that way.

Been through the same thing up here in Hampton. We never had a shot against the Sweetwaters, or the Austin East teams, or the GCA's, according to some.

And that's where it all starts... it all starts in the weight room... that seems to be the hardest thing to get thru kid's heads..

if you've got the HEART, you should want to be in the weight room.. same thing Lil Mike and I preach..

Coalfield did what they wanted, as did Rockwood to us.. hopefully that will spark alittle fire.
