That's another classy thing of your coach, but don't think our coach didn't report. Also he had several other people call TSSAA to report as well. I wish you all a great season. Wish we could still play you all. I have a few buddies of mine down that way.

I've talked to one of the many dads and he says his kid is an all around better player. The town is supportive, they show up to games, they have faith and rightfully so in their head coaches. Heck who wouldn't want to play for an Adam Cain, a Vic Grider, a Joseph Mathis...these guys carry themselves with true class. They win. Casey can't hold a light to any of them. Now he thinks he is greater than any of those coaches...he seriously does. Hollers recruiting all of the time...recruiting doesn't have to occur...why stay here? Tries to get people in trouble and has succeeded a few times. The whole deal with Marion and Wingo was a crock of bull and he just tried to smear Marions program and Woodlee's name.

Shady isn't even the half of him...I've had a family member play under him. It will disgust you even more. I figured he might try and get Josh in trouble. He might...naw he couldn't...if he would worry about his team be a better coach.

Your kids are very good kids. Wish they would get out so they can experience what the Wingo kid and the South Pittsburg ones are.

Talking to parents some financially just can't make the move. In the end our kids are getting short changed. They don't get to experience the things schools 20-30 miles from us do. I don't think I will attend one game this year.

We have lost outstanding athletes and even better kids. Their parents got them the heck out of here. Their kids win. Quality coaches applied for the Grundy job, but Principal Rueghling thought Casey was the one. The people that hired him need to be ashamed as well. Embarrassing for our kids.

We've scheduled these games to save Tate's job. Tate isn't going anywhere because our county is too political. All of the things he has let go on under his watch--he will never get replaced. Heck we wouldn't hire Saban over Tate. Horrible, horrible coach and even worse teacher/person

We can't beat East Hickman we for sure will not be 8-2. It does no good to talk to the principal or director. They are all big buddies I hear with Casey. He's not even a stand out person. Administration don't give a rip about kids.

Yes sir. As well as the kids that went to South Pittsburg. They will now get to know what winning feels like. They are already half way to what they were in 2 years and it's only the 1st game of the season. If Tate stays again more and more parents that can would be stupid to leave their child at Grundy.

Not really to us. The leaders should know we need a new coach. Morale is pathetic. Kids do whatever and whenever/-lack of discipline. Frustrating!

This losing crap is past getting old. Deer are the only thing we win in. It's simple: CHANGE THE COACH!

Wow...great player for Mcartney back in the day. I bet his knowledge will be greeted in Dunlap, TN. Great hire! You all have a Grundy native for the girls that will do super for you all. Kudos to Sequatchie County Indians.

Is this a new team? I've never heard of them. Anxious to see how we start the season off. Heard our coach has tried to schedule easy games. Would this one be one we can win?

Not only are we losing good students--we are losing good teachers. I think everyone can see it, but the powers to be. Grundy has never been in this bad of shape and I have been around sports a long time here.

What three do you think we can get? If Tate does get 3 the authorities will think what a great improvement. We do not want what is best for kids.

At this point and time having a "Bryant Coaching Problem" is a wonderful thing. They at least won ballgames.

We have elected every new school board member that was up for reelection this time and for good reason. The former school board and principal did not hold Tate accountable for several wrongdoings that was swept under the rug. The new board is coming in and holding people accountable and not popular. Those of you that are not from Grundy: how would you feel if 1. Hazing went on in the locker room--kids having to drink urine, poop being placed in shoes, hitting Freshmen across the chest with weight belts 2. Pot being smoked. 3. Sexual activity that was videod and sent out to many of people--happened in the field house before a game. 4. $ not being turned in after games These board members are not popular bc they don't want this authority as role models for our kids? They shouldn't care to be popular and those coaches taking up for Tate have to know at least 1 of the above.
