Gunner I like to hear stuff like this. I know Wills dad very well. I'll be sure and pass along the message about Will. As for the game yes North just couldn't stay healthy and had too many turnovers to overcome.  I hope your son is healthy soon and its not serious

Thanks man. He will probably be down for a couple of weeks. Not one of his better games.

I'd say you're right and all I can say is we avoid Meigs in round 1 lol.

North’s spiral downhill started at the SG game. Last night it just kept getting worse with injuries and turnovers. But I wanted to commend #4 Will Tittle from Happy Valley and what a class act he is. I was on the sideline toward the end of the game tending to my sons injured ankle, the game had ended and #4 came over and shook my sons hand at the end of the game. Any player who goes to the opposing side at the end of the game keeping injured players in mind is a class act in my book. That boy has been taught well and has a big heart.

Yeah should definitely be a good game like region ours is also decided Friday. Will be alot of effort on the fields this weekend. As alot riding on it. Wish everyone good luck. And no injuries.

Interesting in seeing how 1 and 2 pan out in your region.

Gunner if you guys score 14 its over cause we cant find the endzone

We might do it if we come out on the field and can achieve more than just being one dimensional. If we can't, then we might re-live a Hampton game. Anyways, I say the team that really wants it more wins this game. I hope and pray for no injuries.

I have been wondering who was gonna come out of your alls region looks like the winner of this game takes #1 and 2 seed correct? I remember last year we played South Greene first round of the playoffs. Looks like they have come a long way since then.

They have an awesome wide receiver who goes long in the 2nd half of the game. That is pretty much SG strategy at this point. More than likely Hampton will shut that down and be the #1 seed.

Please remember the Andrews family in your thoughts and prayers.

Logan Andrews is a friend I grew up with and played ball with all through youth club to high school.

They placed him on the ventilator last night due to a bad heart valve.

Its hard seeing someone you grew up with go through something like that at such a young age.

I will make sure to pray for him and his family. In return I would like you all to pray for a little boy named Creed. He is a little 6 year old boy in my wife's special needs class. He is having a procedure done on his heart today. It  is one of many he has already had since birth. He was born premature. I am not even sure he will make it to adulthood so he needs all the prayers that he can get. On another note: pray for all our high school boys playing on the football field Friday night and that no teams suffer any major injuries. I know Hamptons field will be primed for a good game tomorrow night.

If you all have suffered the injuries I've heard, and we are missing a couple players, it will be anyone's game...If we get a player or two healthy, I think we can pull it out. Either way, we gonna have A LOT of youth and inexperience on the field.

We still have plenty of experience on the field on our side. Their is only one position where a young player had to step up.

We're a bit beat up right now but so is SN....We wont meet another D line like DC brought last night...and thank God cause we didnt block a soul!

It's anyone's game at this point,  but I will give us the edge being at home....Like 24-21

North should be just fine. We should not have the issues that came up with South Greene. I believe North gets this in a tough win.

Well, here it is. The game we've all been waiting for.  I hate that were banged up after that hv slugfest.   What do y'al think? :-o

Not a lot of people posting on next weeks games. I wonder why? My North vs Hampton thread is not getting a lot of hits. I figured you boys on the mountain would be blowing it up about now.:popcorneater:

I often wonder how good Trousdale is compared to Tyner. We will see soon enough. 3rd seed for us may be Cumberland Gap. They arent a bad team. Was really surprised how they hung with Sullivan North last year. They actually seem to prepare well for big games. I think we will see how good Oneida is tonight. If they beat York,  Meigs will probably have their hands full with them.

I think Oneida will be hard to handle.

Gunners check must have bounced :roflol:

There was a few bad calls. We had our own reasons as to why the wheels fell off the bus as well. Had nothing too do with lack of athleticism or skill. A lot of a lack of discipline and self control issues. I just hope North has it together before next Friday. We had a bad spell last year for a couple of games and bounced back fairly well for the rest of the season before injuries started setting in.

Son, go back and read all the comments on our 15-16 team...We NEVER had a shot, was overrated and no SOS.

You'll win all but one regular season game...just pray for no injuries.

BTW, after we beat you all, you should have a great post season run :thumb:

LMBO!!! I hear ya Uknoit! I know our teams will not take each other lightly. Ours shall be a good game. I would love to see one of us take on some west teams this year in playoffs. If not, I know Meigs will get em. They have the size, speed and athleticism.  Oneida will be tough too.
