They are still using both. We used Adams more. But cleveland rushed for over 300 yards against Clinton and passed for over 200. They were still really sloppy on offense at times and still learning this new system. 

More than anything I want to see the defense improve from the game vs Clinton. Mcminn runs the wing -t and doesn’t pass the ball much at all.  But they have a very athletic RB that can run. If Clevelands defense plays better, I like the offense to score a lot. I’m gonna say Cleve 38 Mcminn 21

If you are trying to teach fundamentals during week 2, your season is clearly not on track. Tygard spent two years developing a passing team with a little bit of run mixed in. Like it or not Tygard was developing an atmosphere that made the games fun for the fans, the students and did a great job of getting all the clubs (JROTC Band, Dance ) and the community (Emergency responders, Military and so on) engaged at extra levels. He was quick to support other areas of the school and make sure the players did the same. Not to say that Rankin style football doesn't work, because it does. but Blackman is not built for it and the staff is not able to run that style program. This will be a season of 3 and outs.

Playing those types of teams is what gets you ready. They may be nervous or anxious at first, but I think they will be just fine. Should be an exciting and fun game to watch as a fan. 

Clinton doesn't have anymore scrimmages but will be playing in the 5 Star Preps Jamboree @ Carson Newman next week. Just don't know who their opponent will be yet.

Hopefully both teams are full go and no injuries in a couple weeks

Also they will get McCallie in the jamboree next week. Hopefully they are ready when we come up there.
