I watched a lot of video of UC. I was just wondering if TN has the same running clock rules as Ky. A lot of the guys are hoping to be home in time for Gridiron Glory.

We have a statistician that printed a book called "For the Record" in I think 2011. It is where I got those stats. He does a great job. Work is that he is planning to do another one soon. We have set a lot of new records. I am interested in seeing the new names listed. The stat I would like to know, is how many players we have had in 2 back to back games that intercepted 4 passes and forced 3 fumbles. Another one, that I am almost certain has to belong to Trajon Bright, that no one is aware of. How many players in Mayfield history played running back for 4 straight years and ran for more than 400 yards each of those years, but only fumbled the ball twice in or less in their career. The most overlooked part of that kids game.

Yeah, I remember the 6th grade game your talking about I think. Y'all had a huge back running the ball. We have weight limits on our backs over here in elementary so they really don't work with bigger kids for that. We had issues tackling him at times. That proved to be the difference in a one td game in the end. I remember one of your boys was actually bigger than the coaches.

I can't wait for the aftershock felt in UC around 10p after the scoreboard proves to you that MHS is 3 td's better.

I personally have been begging for this matchup for the past 5-6 years. You have 2 teams that are supposed to be the tops in their perspective states, within 40 miles of each other, gotta happen. I understand UC dodging us until the streak was over though.

I do enjoy this. But, I would not lie to you. Bring the extra padding for your backside. You will need it after the a**whipping that the red and black will bring into UC on Friday. You messed up letting the Cards back into that stadium, no hiding now. At least the streak is over though.

This will come down to line play as usual. We have a line averaging 260lbs of lean muscle. That means they are fast and don't get tired. Plus they are big enough to push teams around. The other thing it will come down to, just as it usually does with MHS, is speed. We have it, even in the stands. As Toothpick so famously quoted 2 years ago, "The reeducation process is going to be great".

The scrimmage is just part of it. How about last year's videos. Nothing that impressed me much differently there. I will be smiling ear to ear come about 8:30p on Friday. Just please don't vanish from here afterwards. I want to see the change in perspective afterwards.

Sorry, don't know what happened there. I promise you that it may sound like blow hard to you, but your reeducation process starts in 4 days. There is a reason that UC quit playing MHS. You guys are stuck in the 50's with that flavor of offense and you are about to see that. I think the all time record is something like 22 wins for MHS to 6 for UC. I have not exaggerated a bit. I have broken down video from both teams. UC is big and slow. There strength plays right into the strength of MHS defense The weakness of UC defense was exposed in their scrimmage That weakness plays right into the hands of MHS Fellas it's not gonna be close. Well, we have heard about this Wing T for several years now. It didn't work with that bohemeth line that the previously undefeated Fairview Eagles brought to state in 2012. They used it to take a beating in the form of 55-8. It didn't work for the big linemen that Graves County tried against us many times. It didn't work so much that the coach went away from it and tried to start mimicking the Cards offense. It didn't work for the back to back 2a champions, DeSales, when they came to Mayfield in 2015. They went away unhappy to watch us win state 7 days later. I suspect about the same with this 2017 tropical storm. Gonna be fun to listen to Friday. I can't wait to see the video. By the way 1980, Jordan's last name is Harrison. He isn't the fastest on the team, but he is fast.

I just want everyone to know, the Cards will be flying in UC in 6 days. It won't be as close as I originally thought. Cards by 3 scores. Sorry, but I won't be able to be there. Someone has to keep the streets safe in Graves County while most people will be in UC to watch the air show.

We were setting here discussing the disrespect apparent from some in northeast TN for Ky football. A couple of things come to mind. First, this tropical storm in purple and gold stopped playing us after two straight years of losing to our Cards. The last one in Oct of 1988 with the Cards blanking the purple wind while only fielding 3 starters. We had 8 starters out, couldn't play a jv game that week because we had to use our jv for this game. Secondly, it seems odd they have no respect for Ky football but wouldn't play us until the streak was ended.

I wouldn't put much in those unnamed sites score predictions. Over the years, I've seen many many times when they pick the Cards to edge someone in a dog fight. Then, we go out there a blow them away, most likely with a running clock. Then it picks us to beat someone by 2 or more scores and we win by a missed extra point or fg or something. It will pick us to lose to CAL this year as well. But, we will win that game by at least 2 scores.
