  1. I think my prediction was the closest. I said it wouldn't surprise me if it's a running clock second half. I was close.
  2. I get what you're saying , but this isn't cambell they are playing for this year. He wasn't a very good coach and if he was still coaching I would say Sequoyah by 21. The OC at Loudon is a different animal. You guys have never faced him. Jeff does defense. Coach Jones knows how to make the offense work. Think you will be surprised. But good luck to both teams. Hopefully a injury free game for both teams.
  3. I personally don't see it being close. It won't surprise me if it's a running clock in the second half. Sequoyah has always had trouble with Loudon for some reason or another. Not that they are a bad team, that's not what I'm saying. Loudon just has the voodoo doll on them.
  4. No they are not. They will be lucky to win 3 games this year. So it will tell me just how bad cak is this year. Everyone knows coalfield is loaded this year. They (should )go 14 and 1 or 15 and 0. If they don't, it won't be because of talent or experience with a senior heavy team. Greenback only has 6 seniors and only 4 play. They are a sophomore and jr team with some freshman playing.
  5. Cak playing Lenoir City this Friday. That will tell me what I'm wanting to know.
  6. If Greenback roles in this game like everyone is thinking, then it's a cake walk to round 3. Because other than coalfield, they will not see (ANY) comp the rest of season. To be honest, they haven't seen any yet. Loudon game they play like crap. So it doesn't count.
  7. Don't think Greenback has any trouble with GCA. Rusty is a great coach, but it will take a couple years to make them like cak of old. I truly believe Kings academy is a bigger threat .
  8. In my honest opinion coalfield should have the edge in this match up. By edge I mean they are senior heavy, only losing two players from Last year. But with any team, the injury bug could change everything. I hope nothing like that happens to either team. Greenback toughest games left is Kings academy and coalfield. That's it for season until playoffs.
  9. I see Greenback winning out if they get past Kings. But they will play coalfield twice. And everyone knows it's very hard to beat a team twice in one season. Marion county will soften up coalfield for Greenback in regular season. That's two hard games back to back for them. But round 3 will tell the tell.
  10. With Greenback handing to cak last night, and Kings handing it to Grace, and sp handing it Boyd, pretty much seals the rest of the season what to expect. It's a definite fact coalfield, Greenback or south Pitt will be in Cookeville for the East this year. Each team only has one, maybe two decent games left before playoffs. It is what it is. Round 3 with coalfield is the only game to worry about.
  11. Hard to pick a winner for this game. Simply because both teams will play this game harder than any other games they play this season. With LC losing their QB and Loudon losing a lineman Last Friday, it's a coin toss.
  12. Well for one, that's against the rules. Two, I don't think you know me and my family very well if at all or you wouldn't even begin to think that. Three, I'm pretty sure it's not anyone business but mine who my son played for at any time in his high school football. But you might want to be careful about making statement like that. Someone might just make you prove it.
  13. I hope they figure it out soon. Coalfield won't be a joke this year. But any team can be beat. It was killing j not to be out there. Lol
  14. I don't think I'm going to make this game. I haven't been to the battle of bridge since my oldest son was a senior so I'm going there. Good luck to Greenback, hope for a good showing and injury free night for both teams. Cak does have good food. I do remember that from 3 years ago. Lol. No need to eat before you get there. Greenback boys play hard, play smart and you will be fine.
  15. If they would just do what every coach they have had told them all their lives they would be unstoppable. That's what made my son different. He did it. Play to the whistle blows. He would hit someone every play. Didn't matter if it means 15 or not. They are going to have to. This will be a very tough year with the teams they are playing.
  16. Big B gonna have to let the twins drop. It's his senior year, no take backs after this year. Nothing wrong with getting 15 every now and then. Lol
  17. It was killing him not to be out there helping. Lol.
  18. It wouldn't be a bad idea to run wildcat set every now and then. #6 has a 60 yard arm when he wants.
  19. I looked for you at the game. I was a little disappointed at how they played. But it was the first game. Maybe they will get it together soon. Just didn't see that killing instinct I'm used to watching on the field. But it's my first year in 14 he hasn't played. Lol
  20. People will always say he was recruited over there. But I know the truth and Alot of you guys know why he came. He could have played anywhere in the state for any team, but he wanted to come home. Loudon kids didn't except his ability, so it worked out.
  21. I just love it when people say Greenback recruited my son . He was recruited by a lot of schools in his 4years. But not Greenback. Lol
  22. No wife. Just me. I'm a father of one of those two he says was recruited. Lol.
  23. We met at Midway game. Last year.
  24. You know who I am don't you? Lol.
  25. Hahahaha. Explain recruited. What exactly are you saying?
