Good week for the region. Wins by Crossville, Macon, Upperman. Tough loss for Stone. Rebuild year for the hogeyes. Still wait and see for Dekalb.
I was excited to see Cumberland get a win last night. They have drastically improved. I think they are going to give teams fits this year with some of the talent they have.

Macon Co coming to Motown sky high after beating the greatest East Robertson Team in history. Westmoreland loses a barn burner against Portland. This game will be sold out.
I will most definitely be there early next Friday night! The stands will be packed early. This game could go either way. Posty make sure to save me a cheeseburger before they sell out.

Big win for the Tigers tonight. I thought the offense played well as well as the defense against Groves and the rest of the talented Indians squad. We need to clean up the penalties which could hurt us in the long run. Now we travel west on 52 to play that team in red. Should be a fun one next Friday night!

I hope your right don’t take me wrong.
gonna have to be stepped up for it to be even close to last year.
I completely agree last years defense was really good. This years D has the potential to be as good as last years I believe

Macon will have their hands full all night long. If the D don't shape up fast the indians could very well win this game.
The defense will be fine. They have been working several guys in and out during the preseason to get looks from everyone that can play. I think we will see a more consistent defense come Friday night.

Film? You coach? I know coach shoulders doesn’t give film out against opponents to fans. Either way good luck Friday should be a good one
I’ve just seen highlights of East Rob. The highlights I’ve seen of ER has looked impressive. I just used the word film in place of highlights lol. I can see where it’s misleading.

East Robertson has very good athletes at every skill position. They also have a big nasty offensive line.
I was quite impressed with what I’ve seen of them. They play with tenacity and effort all around. MC will be battle tested for sure. Looking for this game to be a tight one.

The Indians will travel up to Lafayette next Friday night for a showdown. The Tigers have overall looked pretty good this off-season. The Indians have the Groves kids and are looking to have a good run this season. How does this one play out? Thoughts?

They played CPA.
Basically all you need to know. CPA will more than likely be in Chattanooga at the end of the year.
However, I thought MC didn’t look terrible against Hendersonville. Made some plays on both sides of the ball.

The MC boys trying to make a deeep run
Man, I would love to see us at least get out of the first round. I think we should be able to compete with the Chattanooga area teams a lot better than Nolensville and Marshall County. I think we have the potential of getting to the third round just got to buckle down and play hard nose football every Friday night.

Thanks, Coming up earlier than that. Have a friend whose son plays Pop Warner in Lafayette and they are playing before the high schools. Save me a couple of cheeseburgers.
Will do! If the away side concession is open, make sure to get one of those good hot fudge cakes! They are the best!

I love playing the private schools like CPA! Westmoreland played Goodpasture last night.
CPA has a great chance to repeat this year. Looking forward to watching the QB and RB duo for them. I think it will benefit MC playing Hendersonville and CPA. Just getting to see the size and quality speed will help the Tigers that they’ll see in the playoffs.
How did Westy look against Goodpasture?

MC is getting to play Hendersonville and CPA in the jamboree Friday night. Should be very interesting to watch MC play these two teams. Just hoping to stay healthy and have a good look before it goes down for real against East Rob next week.

If woulds and buts was candy and nuts we'd all have a merry christmas! Yall had 18 seniors. We had a team full of sophmores and juniors.
We only had 11 seniors last year. I wish we had that many year in and year out lol.

We have nicknamed it the red, white, and blue rivalry on the ridge. The game where we all wear the colors of our nation and stand proudly for the flag and the anthem!
I like that nickname and the symbol behind it as well. I think all rivalries should have a name and a type of trophy for the game. It would give it a more electrifying thrill to the game.

Yeah like last season when yall had a team full of seniors and beat the dirty birds by a td. lol the 2 seasons before what happened to the powerhouse macon against the dirty birds?
You got a point there Postman. In all truth, it’s always a good matchup and always is a good crowd every year.

Macon co is considered a powerhouse right?
I wouldn’t say that, but some years MC looks like a powerhouse against the dirty birds except in the 90s lol.

I wouldn't think so, but stranger things have happened, as far as Westy vs Portland, this will be a close low scoring game imo, I'll go portland 20-14.
I meant that in a joking way lol. But all kidding aside anything can happen in football. Hope everything is well down there in TC.

So are you saying alot of freshmen will be seeing alot of playing time?
Not necessarily, there’s just some sophomores as well as some freshmen that will have a role in different aspects of the game this year and will be game changers

They favor the typical dirty bird team you see.

Will they be able to give TC and Watertown a run for their money this year?

How is the dirty birds of westmoreland looking this year Mr. Postman?

Macon's key is not getting anyone hurt. Not many numbers, not alot of depth. MC is fairly quick this year but not as big as I have seen in the past. Overall a good solid team.
With the small numbers, MC has found a lot within the team who has stepped up. A lot of young and new faces making plays on the field. Staying healthy this year will be crucial for the Tigers most certainly. If we stay healthy and stay focused throughout the year, MC has a chance to make a good run for the region title and in the playoffs.

They had their studs out there playing last night. I don’t know if I seen many players or even any at all that wasn’t dressed on their sideline.
