No doubt Coach Hennigan is changing things at Cookeville High. But right now? Nowhere close to competing for a championship. Upperman will be the favorite to win Region 4-4A and one of the top five favorites to be back in Chattanooga next season.

York has been this way for years. They did the same stuff when I was in high school playing against in the early 2000s.

After watching the game on NFHS....if York doesn't get a playoff ban or some heavy punishment...the TSSAA has failed. That was awful. It was blatant. No need for that in sports.

Meigs offense goes thru the QB and he is pretty dang good. 

Meigs defense very good against the run.

Giles has more athletes on the field. 

Giles is a two headed monster....#8 can throw it and #4 can run it.

Giles has the edge in the kicking game...Most drives after a Giles score will start on the 20 YL. Great kicker!

To me Giles is a lot like Tyner personnel wise only better. They are well coached and very multiple on offense. They will test the Meigs defense. Giles is the best team Meigs has played this year. Meigs will do what they do.....play defense and run the football. They will have to keep the Giles offense off the field. If Giles stops or slows down the QB run for Meigs they win. If Meigs can control #4 running or receiving, they win.

That's a really big IF. Page had trouble with him and #1.

No I wasn't at the game. I was shocked because the previous week against Watertown everything was fine. So I was shocked and then another poster said you haven't known McMinn Central long

So they didn't shake hands after the game? What a bunch of babies. Are they mad because Giles put a 70 piece on them? Stop playing man against a team with a ton of athletes on offense. 

Giles will not have to double team 11. With the style of defense Central plays....it would not shock me if Giles ran 5 plays a drive. Giles has the dudes to lock up 11, 4, 10.

Giles has the dudes to match up with 11. Good luck stopping their offense and their #4, 1, and 2.

If Giles County didn't get a running clock on Fayetteville then SC isn't getting a running clock. I do believe SC wins, but I think it is closer than most think.
