yeah the difference is now Stratford has better players at pretty much every position including the best player in metro hands down. Lol pleas son don't bring cash into the equation, I'm sure it would be a little more of a struggle for you to bring the type of cash that I usually wager. Good try though son.

Stratford defense is second to none. They have probably the best set of corners in the state. They have one of the best DL's in the state. Their strengths in the secondary and on the DL make them a nightmare matchup for a team like PC bc they can eliminate PC's strength. Stratford offense has been inconsistent this year especially with injuries and suspensions but they have done well against their best comp. I'm not saying that Stratford would beat every team in metro. But bc of their talent nobody is running them off the field in metro not even close. Anybody that have seen them play can see that. Any given Friday they could beat anyone in metro bc of their physicality, size and speed and bc of inconsistency They could get beat by some teams in metro as well. But they sure in heck aren't afraid of anybody

You are not using logic. He is the dean of metro coaches. They all go to him with their problems and concerns even PC coach. They already play Maplewood and Marshall County. You think they wouldn't be all over a big money game with PC? Are you high?

Can you please explain to me how Stratford is avoiding anybody.especially PC? This is staff's second year, in which their schedule was already set. Please let's not act like we don't have Coach Fitzgerald as the coach who has always played any and everyone. Who btw is the only one who has ever won any rings at PC. Please explain....

CR is the best metro team I agree with that though.

Again, I don't think Pearl or CR is as good as Marshall County, Stratford beat them. Shut them out in the second half.

They beat Marshall County(ranked top 3 in the state in 4A) Maplewood (was ranked top 10 in state 4A), Goodpasture,CPA. I'm some ways they are still a young team so they tend to play down to competition but they have the talent, heart and size to play with any metro team and win. Plus they have the best player in metro or against any team they play which is a huge plus. Injuries are an issue for them but they looked great in destroying Chetham County

CR has staying power. They have the top coaching staff in metro and one of the tops in middle tn. Love what they have going on.

Great post, sums it up. I have ex teammates that coach in metro and they ask the same thing. Like this guy in here is fighting so hard for respect on here. Their coaches do the same on Twitter. Just put your head down and work. Every team has its shortcomings. No need to make PC out to be world beaters that they clearly are not.

This post is really getting ridiculous.. Mt Juliet chimes in and they really think they are great and their not... PC is the most overrated and underachieving team in metro..and it keeps going on an on. Pc yall beat who yall are suppose to beat every year, which yall should with every metro schools kids. But when you have to really coach yall fall short every year. nobody cares about Pc vseverybody when yall cant win.. Yall have no handicap so whats yall excuse?

You really wanna see metro succeed but its hard to root for some of these guys because they just talk and talk and talk about NOTHING.... You don't see CR coaches on here doing all that trash talking, they just put their head down and work.... Good luck tho Metro

Like the Stratford teams in the early and mid 90's. Those dudes were real. They didnt need to have coaches talking and politicing for them. You didn't see those teams get beat by 40 and 50 points. They were the ones doing the beating

Great point, MBA isn't running to play Oakland. They don't want those problems. Plus the PC v MBA game is a money game the way a1AA team gets a check to get beat up by an SEC team. PC goes to MBA to pick up a check and take a quick beat down. And if PC coach hadn't called the game MBA freshman and JV kids could have got some action out of it. Win/win for everybody. Yes. Thank God PC lost a game of hide n seek with Alcoa lol. The whole publicity stunt about staying 4A really didn't move anybody. I will say the whole Twitter gangster persona with PC coaches is cute. But it gets lame quick when you get beat by 50 a couple times. Plus they are grown and should really stay off Twitter with all the talking. It's pretty sad.

It's not a secret that PC head coach opted to end the game when the lightening cleared. Come on you know this. Everybody does, a lot people lost a lot of respect for PC and the coach for that. As far as MJ, there is zero chance PC beats them. Seen both play this year and MJ is way too big, physical and disciplined for PC to come within 14 points. That would get ugly. They would break PC. MJ is bigger and more physical than MBA and we saw how that worked out for PC.

And your coach literally quit in the third qtr and went home. I feel bad for MBA. They have JV and freshman team guys that could have got some work that night lol.

Actually 49-0 at halftime doesn't sometimes happen unless you have a lot of quit in a team or lack of toughness. Being young is no excuse. No excuse fo being in The Half a Hundred Club at halftime with the talent PC has. That's embarrassing

And you think PC can play with the big boys bc you run the score up on Portland and Tullahoma? The secret is out, if PC plays against live opponents that are disciplined and not scared, PC gets hit in the mouth and doesn't fight back. And that leads to 50 point losses and a running clock.

When PC played MBA the score was 49-0 at half and PC coach elected to quit in the 3rd qtr lol. The same MBA team that almost lost to Father Ryan. The same PC that got beat by 50 on tv vs Catholic.
