Just to show some quick numbers, WilCo public schools are 63-11 against all non-county teams. (63-12 if you count Nolensville's one game which they lost). About .825 winning percentage. Also, all teams made the playoffs and 7 teams made it to the second round, with 5 advancing to quarterfinals. Indy & Centennial are the out-of-county undefeated teams, with Centennial only losing to IHS in week 2.

Not much to say about this one, battle of the unbeatens in 5A. Both teams looking very good coming in, having great offenses and stingy defenses. Cane Ridge looks to avenge the first round loss to Indy from last year. How does it play out?

Interesting to take Scott Blade calling to kick a field goal... Maybe as a game winner from within 35 yards, but still hard to predict.

Hillsboro (7-4) goes to Thompson Station to face Independence (11-0) after strong performances by both teams. Hillsboro has been in stride, winning the last 5 games and looking as good as ever this year. Independence continues playing disciplined, shutting out Gallatin (although Mason did not play) and winning 35-0. This game looks like a major show of the 5A title team, and last year showed likely the best two teams in the state with a close 28-20 victory for Indy.
