Had nothing to do with your top ranked HW losing did it?? Gibbs grinded put that win.
No, props to your heavy on that one. I’m talking about various other matches thG the coach literally told the wrestlers to stall out

Are you talking about 113?
113, 182, 220. Thats a 9 point swing the coaches were scared to take. Even heard the coach tell these specific wrestlers “go out there and stall!”
-
Really Gibbs? This is a wrestling tournament, not a stalling contest. Take your loss and go with it. Stalling out like that is a cop out. Greenbrier just proved they’re hands down the best A/AA team in the state. Regardless of who gets the title from this point on.

How bout them bobcats!![/quote
What happened to Tanner Lynch, why did he forfeit? I was looking forward to seeing the match with Zach.
He's been fighting an injury for some time and during the match before finals with Rainey he aggravated his injury and decided it would be best to not risk hurting it more and be able to compete properly at state.

What is the date and times for the tournament this weekend? Looks to be a great event that will be worth checking out.

You are a bit off on 160. As much as I would like to think you are correct.
I may be wrong, just from what ive seen this year I think Creary will make his way through. All of these were an attempt to be as unbiased and accurate as I could possibly predict. I very well could be wrong on a lot of the weight classes, just what I think though.

Where exactly are you trying to start this program?
-
Some of the most heart i have ever seen in the sport of wrestling has come from small school wrestlers. Like you said, no respect!
-
Both lynch boys (Toby and Tanner) from greenbrier have to make this list. Along with camper from sycamore. pendley from forrest. Noah Evans from alcoa. Noah Walton from greenbrier. Hundley from Chatt Christian. Also really like hux and foster from Greeneville.
-
Most list on here mentioned Hutchins and Evans. That's 2 out of 15 or so. IMO that's about right. Obviously D2 recruits and usually gets the best of the crop coming out of middle school. AAA has the most bodies. That leaves AA. Not exactly sure who'd you'd consider adding to the top 15. But to say just because they're small school they should be added is nonsensical.
did not say they should be added because they're small school. Just simply stating that small school flies under the radar due to their classification and aren't shown the appreciation necessary to have a 100% completely accurate ranking like this one. Like I said, I'm taking nothing away from the wrestlers previously stated, just saying that not every single wrestler in the state was taken into account.
-
I don't know a lot about small school but who other than Sammy Evans would you put on this list?
I would have fairly biased opinions as well strictly due to me not being able to watch as much wrestling as I would like throughout the year, but just making the point that small school kids need to get some love to. I see a lot of threads on here praising the big school wrestlers, and I'm not taking anything from those guys, but there are very dominant small school wrestlers too flying under the radar just do to their schools classification.
-
Dont want to step on any toes or cause a big ruccus, but no love for small school. Plenty of small school wrestlers at a very elite level worthy of possibly making this list. No need to be biased to the wrestlers who come strictly from powerhouse schools. Broaden the spectrum, watch more of a variety of wrestler and then make judgement.

Check the roster. Missing some key components. We had 2 of our best break their collar bones yesterday and had another one of our tops come in overweight. Not making excuses, but making you aware. Fairview came to wrestle, congrats to them!
