2-2 draw in a tough fought game. Smyrna went out in front both times, the second lead was followed by a goal from Coffee County 15 seconds following the kickoff. Bad defending and lost focus allowed an attacking player to dribble through 6 Smyrna players to score. Overall two strong teams with coffee county looking like the better technical side. Strong players in the midfield and up front in the attack. Smyrna may surprise some people if they play like this on a regular basis, lots of speed and possess the ball well going forward, although they try and play too direct at times with speed up top with #10. Freshman keeper made some big saves, looks like they have a new coach that might be steering them in the right direction.

Stewarts Creeks coach I'm guessing stepped down, they appointed their assistant from last year, (Marlow, sp?) surprising considering they had a decent season. Riverdale hired a new guy, I believe he's a former Cumberland university player. Can't recall his name at the moment. A lot of young talent on this team, so I think they'll be a team to watch in the future. Smyrna let their coach go after one season, new guys name is Hayes. Not sure how deep the talent is here, but they had a few area players. Strong forward in Barrientos (sp?) And from what I've heard Blackman may be about done with Vice, but I believe this is just rumor at this point.
