Flipping Fall & Spring sports should be off the table. Baseball has already lost one season & I'm sorry but fall is football season. If it gets cut short or plays a modified schedule then so be it.

Why would they cancel this soon?  Childress already said twice that no regular season games had to be played to qualify for post season. They will re-evaluate the situation April 1st & go from there. T$$AA isn't going to pass up a chance for a spring fling if this thing dies down. Now after a certain point in April, if the hysteria has not died down, then it may be canceled.

Pickett Co (192) & Red Boiling Springs  (194) compete against Jackson Co (406) & Monterey (392) in the same district.

Problem is some schools like Loredo should be in AA. Hard for truly small schools with 2 or 300 kids to compete. I am glad to see privates moving to d2.

Wow #1 pitcher just gave up more runs than he did all season.

Haven't seen Eagleville but looking at their schedule,  they are a good team. What kind of stuff does the probable starters have? Mann cruises 88-89 & can run up 92ish with 12/6 curve & a cutter. What about Eagleville? 

Any thoughts on this matchup? Hunter Mann from Gordonsville is a beast on the mound!

How is Loretto even in single A? 531 enrollment. Playing down in A division has given them alot of success.  Boys Basketball state champs, baseball  state champs, now a shot at girls basketball all in a 3 year period

1.  Clay County—easily got the best team in district. Can go very deep into bench if needs to and kids expect to win.

2.  Monterey—West kid might be best player in district.  He makes everyone on team better.

3.  RBS—if big kid can get some help this team is not bad.  He is probably district MVP and don’t tell me he is not on top team in district, I understand.  

4.  Gordonsville—not real familiar with them but by all accounts descent enough to make region tourney.

West is a nice player but Woodcock is on a different level. West is in top 5.

Definitely would have made a difference.  He is by far the best player in 7A

Who are top players in 8aa?

If a student athlete with a athletic record at one school turns 18 & moves out on his own to a new school district but his parents are still at the old address, would he be eligible at the new school?

Hey Ole buddy, heard a couple boys got mad up here last night & quit the Monterey team. You heard anything on that? They looked pretty good.

8 deep in single A with some out for basketball?  How many are in your school? Must be nice! Most single A schools are lucky to have enough to play.

Chance to tie with 3 seconds left but I agree we had the better team. Shot too many 3s. Should have fed Garrett all night. It couldn't be stopped. 

I'm from the Range but I will have to say the referees seemed to favor us. That was pretty obvious.  Great game though & both teams left it on the floor. Shame this wasn't for the gold ball.
