Pigeon Forge beat Elizabethton tonight. Who do they play next?

I would be willing to wager that Seymour and Pigeon Forge could take on SCHS's "district schedule" (since their non-district schedule is a joke year in and out) and do alot better tha SCHS does. Especially the teams of the past and probably the teams of the future.

Sevier County won one state chamionship and you crown them as the most dominant team...oh and by the way this is a thread about baseball.

You won one district game last year....shut your mouth....if you can't beat teams like maryville and william blount consistently there is no way you should be on here talking about how you "almost" beat farragut and south doyle a couple of times. You still lost...a loss is a loss. Thereis no maybe, almost, or kind of beat someone. Sevier County doesn't even beat their non-district opponents consistently which is who like Gatlinburg-Pitman and Johnson County, etc. That is pathetic. You have no room to open your mouth until you beat someone. If your so good prove it on the field this year. Cockiness doesn't equal wins.

Well I guess we can only hope coaching baseball instead of football is his strong point...the baseball program has never had a losing season since the school has been created...hopefully that won't change

So if your guaging that Alcoa is better by the fact that Alcoa has beat PF twice doesn't that mean that the team that beat Alcoa in districts, becuase you had a "bad" game, is better than Alcoa?

Who do you think the best team in Sevier County is this year? Pigeon Forge, Sevier County, Seymour, or Gatlinburg-Pitman?

Pigeon Forge will hopefully rebound from the loss of the coaching staff, Tyler Cannon, and 7 seniors from last years team. They somehow rebound from challenges perenially. They have a young team but talented at the same time. Brandon Wilson the young catcher started almost everygame last year as a freshman and is one of the best in the state as a sophmore. Bradley Harveston should return as a dominant pitching force as he has been the past two years. The seniors will show leadership and hopefully continue the winning history at PF. On the other hand in District 2-AA it seems to always be a battle between PF and Rutledge. Rutledge always has a good team and has alot of returning starters this year. It is always a battle for the District Championship between these two. This year should be no different. It should be fun.

Yes, Alcoa is a good team but how can you put them over PF?...When PF went farther than any of the other four teams last year. PF beat Rutledge in the Region Championship game and they went on to lose to Anderson Co. in the substate game. Anderson Co. then lost in the first couple of rounds in the state tournament. Seymour and Gibbs didn't even make it out of the region.

Pigeon Forge has been overlooked as force in AA the past two years and what happened?...State Championship appearence the first year and made it to the semi-finals the next year....Yes, without a doubt, losing Cannon and the 7 seniors will be alot to overcome but they have overcome challenges before when no one thought they could.

Everytime these teams meet it is a battle. Who will come out on top today?

I would look out for Pigeon Forge, they only lost three seniors last year and will have around 8 next year. With a few younger players stepping up they wshould be a force to be reckoned with.

Wow, crazy 2AA District Tournament this year. the 2nd seed Rutledge was put out after their first two games. While the suprising 5th seed South Greene made it all the way to the district championship game but lost to the extremely hot Pigeon Forge Tigers. The Tigers went undefeated through the tournament this year winning every game by at least five runs. Taking their second consecutive disctrict chamionship. Pigeon Forge and South Greene advance to the region. Anyone know what happened in District 1-AA?
