Hello, Due to Iowa State's recent new hires...Cane Ridge High School has a couple of openings for Assistant Coaches. There are several open teaching positions (most of which are not listed on the MNPS website). We are looking for someone who has the desire, drive and energy to BUILD a winning program! We are not an established program with All-Americans and State Champions who are in the room however, we DO have talent in the room! We had 0 Seniors last year and 2 out of 3 State Qualifiers were Sophomores. We do have a Girls program as well (we had a State Runner-up who lost in the blood round to become an All-American). If you do not want to help build a Girls program or coach "Girls" wrestling, we will not be a good fit for you. We have one representative at 165lbs who will be attending. I am not sure what your dual team looks like up to this point but I am sure she would be interested in wrestling in the Dual portion as well. The more competition she can get against National talent she will take. We will be having practices as well at Cane Ridge if any other girls would like to attend. I would also be available to coach any others if needed. Also, if any girls are interested in sharing in the cost of a hotel room with our girl we can work something out I am sure.
